Self-appreciation might sound like coping but I personally think that it’s one of the great ways to be more secure. In the end like I said in the video, if we have excessive self-appreciation, we can give it to others too without being stingy about it.

I talked about self-appreciation and acknowledgment because not only I was falling into the same spot where I started but I was about to be more resentful. I began to wonder, “why do I never get any compliment despite…. (insert all the lists) while others who do something mundane get a compliment”. Then, I realized of this story that happened in Thailand and reminded myself that perhaps I was just invisible to some others and who cares? I might not be their cup of tea but among billions of people on earth, I am sure that I am not invisible to some of them and they appreciate what I do. If you ever feel invisible, at least you’re not invisible to yourself 😀
