1️⃣ What is your favorite thing about this time of year:

This time of the year is great because Christmas is approaching which is my favorite time of the year, what I enjoy most is undoubtedly the food, specifically the Christmas dish of my country which includes as protagonist the hallaca which is a kind of tamale, its elaboration is beautiful because we Venezuelans have the tradition of gathering the whole family for a whole day or several days to prepare them, during this process we listen to Christmas bagpipes, a very cheerful music originating in the state of Zulia in northwestern Venezuela.

The hallacas are accompanied by pan de jamón, a bread stuffed with smoked ham, bacon, raisins and olives, we also add chicken or chicken salad which includes potatoes, carrot and mayonnaise and finally we make a roast in black sauce super hyper delicious and a baked pernil which I usually leave to eat the next day with some delicious arepas 🤤 I love Venezuelan Christmas food so much that I have my birthday in September and once I asked as a gift that we all eat Christmas dish 😂.

Another thing I love about this season are the colors, the sparkles, dressing in green and red, the frost or glitter and the Christmas lights as I am a fan of everything colorful and cheerful, I love the good energy that this transmits. Lastly and most importantly, I love the fact that it is a time to share with family, although due to the massive migration of Venezuelans due to political, social and economic problems, most of my relatives are far away from Venezuela fighting for a better future. I miss very much being able to share with them since family is the true essence of Christmas and I hope with all my heart that very soon everyone can return, I have a lot of faith in this.

2️⃣ How would you spend a million dollars?:

Who wouldn't love to have a million dollars in their wallet hahaha that would be awesome. Even if we feel like it's a ton of money, and it really is, if we don't have good management and a vision for the future we could go from having it all to not having enough to buy a cup of coffee, this is why I would do 3 things with my first million dollars.

The first and the one that I long for the most at this moment, would be to get my visa and not because I want to go to live in the United States hahaha (although if they take me I'm not complaining 😂). I am a high performance athlete in the discipline of ultimate frisbee, I am currently part of the national team of my country and next year there will be the World Cup of nations which occurs only once every 4 years, this event will be in the United States, I do not have a visa and due to the absurd political problems of the rulers of my country with USA, the US embassy left Venezuela. Venezuelans previously had to travel to apply for it in Colombia but after a while we stopped doing it because they were all rejected and the money for the visa plus the money for the trip was lost, now we must travel to Mexico to apply for it so with part of the money I would travel to Mexico with my family to know their culture, eat their delicious food and take advantage of applying for my visa to represent my country in the world cup of nations.

The second thing I would do would be to carry out one of my life projects, create a sustainable fashion company, perhaps haute couture where I could give dignified employment to all those incredible women who are exploited and underpaid working as seamstresses for large organizations. With the profits from this venture I could help people in need, homeless people, people with costly illnesses, abused children. If I initially only think about helping without generating anything, the money would vanish and I wouldn't really be able to generate a change in anyone's life, not even my own.

The remaining money I would invest in the cryptocurrency market because this is the future and we must once and for all accept it and start changing our mentality, cryptocurrencies are here to stay and we must adapt to this new reality. With the profits generated thanks to this investment, I would create a children and youth sports foundation where I would use sport as a tool for change aimed at vulnerable sectors of society, teaching the necessary values to rescue children from the streets, from drugs, from unhealthy life, children who have been victims of sexual or psychological abuse, sport changes lives and we must take advantage of it to do good ❤️.

This is how I would use my money, investing it to multiply it and be able to generate a positive change in many more people. Virtual hug to everyone!

Saludos a la mejor comunidad de mujeres empoderadas de esta red social ❤️ Las preguntas de esta semana han sido más que divertidas así que decidí responderlas de una manera divertida también 🤗 Realicé un video el cual es mi segundo video en Hive y en la vida jajaja se que la mayoría de ustedes habla en inglés y me disculpo por esto pero les prometo que muy pronto haré videos con subtítulos para poder sacarles una sonrisa a ustedes también. Todo lo que digo en el video lo traduciré en este post.

Preguntas divertidas de la semana:

1️⃣ ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de esta época del año?:

Esta época del año es genial porque se acerca la navidad que es mi época preferida del año, lo que más disfruto es indudablemente la comida, específicamente el plato navideño de mi país que incluye como protagonista a la hallaca que es una especie de tamal, su elaboración es hermosa pues los venezolanos tenemos la tradición de reunirnos toda la familia durante todo un día o varios días a prepararlas, durante este proceso escuchamos gaitas navideñas, una música muy alegre originaria del estado Zulia al noroeste de Venezuela.

La hallacas van acompañadas de pan de jamón, un pan relleno de jamón ahumado, tocineta, pasas y aceitunas, también agregamos ensalada de gallina o de pollo que incluye papas, zanahoria y mayonesa y por último realizamos un asado en salsa negra super hiper delicioso y un pernil al horno el cual suelo dejar para comer al día siguiente con unas deliciosas arepas 🤤 Amo tanto la comida navideña venezolana que cumplo años en septiembre y una vez pedí de regalo que todos comiéramos plato navideño 😂

Otra cosa que amo de esta época son los colores, los brillos, vestirnos de verde y rojo, la escarcha o purpurina y las luces navideñas ya que soy fan de todo lo que sea colorido y alegre, me encanta la buena energía que esto transmite. Por último y más importante, amo el hecho de que sea una época para compartir en familia, aunque debido a la migración masiva de venezolanos por los problemas políticos, sociales y económicos, la mayoría de mis familiares se encuentran lejos de Venezuela luchando por un mejor futuro. Extraño mucho poder compartir con ellos ya que la familia es la verdadera esencia de la navidad y espero de todo corazón que muy pronto todos puedan regresar, tengo mucha fe en esto.

2️⃣ ¿Cómo gastarías un millón de dólares?

¿A quién no le gustaría tener un millón de dólares en su wallet? jajaja sería increíble. Aunque sintamos que es muchísimo dinero, y realmente lo es, si no tenemos una buena administración y una visión de futuro podríamos pasar de tenerlo todo a no tener para comprar una taza de café, por esto yo realizaría 3 cosas con mi primer millón de dólares.

La primera y la que más anhelo en este momento, sería sacar mi visa y no porque desee ir a vivir a los estados unidos jajaja (aunque si me llevan no me quejo 😂). Soy atleta de alto rendimiento en la disciplina de ultimate frisbee, actualmente formo parte de la selección nacional de mi país y el año que viene se realizará el mundial de naciones el cual ocurre solo una vez cada 4 años, este evento será en Estados Unidos, yo no tengo visa y debido a los problemas políticos absurdos de los gobernantes de mi país con USA, la embajada estadounidense se fue de Venezuela. Los venezolanos anteriormente debíamos viajar a solicitarla en Colombia pero después de un tiempo dejamos de hacerlo pues todas eran rechazadas y se perdía el dinero de la visa más el dinero del viaje, ahora debemos viajar a México a solicitarla así que que con parte del dinero viajaría a México junto a mi familia a conocer su cultura, comer su deliciosa comida y aprovechar de solicitar mi visa para poder representar a mi país en el mundial de naciones.

La segunda cosa que haría sería llevar a cabo uno de mis proyectos de vida, crear una empresa de moda sustentable, quizás de alta costura donde pueda darle empleo digno a todas esas mujeres increíbles que son explotadas y subpagadas trabajando como costureras para las grandes organizaciones. Con las ganancias de esta empresa podría ayudar a las personas que lo necesiten, personas sin hogar, personas con enfermedades costosas, niños maltratados. Si inicialmente solo pienso en ayudar sin generar nada, el dinero se esfumaría y no podría realmente generar un cambio en la vida de nadie, ni siquiera en la mia.

El dinero restante lo invertiría en el mercado de las criptomonedas pues esto es el futuro y debemos de una vez por todas aceptarlo y empezar a cambiar nuestra mentalidad, las criptomonedas llegaron para quedarse y debemos adaptarnos a esta nueva realidad. Con las ganancias generadas gracias a esta inversión, crearía una fundación deportiva infantil y juvenil donde usaría el deporte como herramienta de cambio dirigido a los sectores vulnerables de la sociedad, enseñando los valores necesarios para rescatar a los niños de las calles, de las drogas, de la vida insana, niños que hayan sido victima de abuso sexual o psicológico, el deporte cambia vidas y debemos aprovecharlo para hacer el bien ❤️

Así es como utilizaría mi dinero, invirtiéndolo para multiplicarlo y poder generar un cambio positivo en muchas más personas. Abrazo virtual para todos!
