In this week's video I am going to show you the largest Marian monument in the world. It is the Manto de Maria Divina Pastora that is located in Barquisimeto. It was inaugurated in 2016 as a gift for the 160th anniversary of the virgin.
The sculpture is located east of Barquisimeto in an elevated place called Colina del Viento. It is a huge and imposing monument that you can see it from the road when you enter from the central western highway from Yaracuy and from some points of the city.
The view from the top is spectacular! It is a visit you can not miss when you go to Barquisimeto; because from this hill you can admire a beautiful landscape of the twilight city. Every corner of Venezuela has places worth showing, my camera is ready to capture the images.
