Celebrando el Día del Padre [ESP/ENG]

Este día del padre me tenía bastante preocupada porque, generalmente, el cumpleaños de mi papá cae el mismo día o al día siguiente y se hace una sola celebración pero esta vez no fue así, mi presupuesto estaba bastante corto por todas las cosas médicas que han surgido últimamente y prefiero darle prioridad al cumpleaños de mi papá que cae el Martes, sin embargo, no quería pasar por debajo de la mesa el día del padre tampoco.

Mi papá es un hombre bastante sencillo, él nunca nos ha pedido regalos extravagantes o muy costosos, sin embargo nosotras siempre queremos hacerle algo bonito como especial; como mi presupuesto era bastante corto preferí hacer algo especial desde casa así que me levanté a hacer un desayuno especial y luego él quería arreglar un poco la casa así que nos pusimos manos a la obra mientras la novia de mi papá hacía el almuerzo. La casa quedó irreconocible pero nos tardamos mucho acomodándola, teníamos que salir súper rápido porque el Ñeñe se le había acabado la comida, como también, teníamos que comprar una antena de wifi para su computadora y como los centros comerciales son un lugar donde te distraes fácilmente, empezamos a pasear entre tienda y tienda hasta que se nos hizo casi la noche.

Teníamos demasiada hambre así que decidimos ir a la feria para comer algo, como yo ya sabía que mi papá tenía tiempo queriendo comer comida mexicana y en la feria del Sambil de la Candelaria hay un local llamado "El Piquín" el cual su temática es netamente mexicana, lo llevé ahí; la comida estaba bastante sabrosa, yo no comí casi porque el combo que pedimos traía poca comida y preferí pedir un sushi para que mi papá pudiera degustar bien. Después nos fuimos a la casa y como ya había un almuerzo listo, nos ahorramos cocinar el almuerzo del día siguiente así que fue un ganar ganar.

Fue una tarde muy entretenida, vimos muchas tiendas, paseamos bastante y comimos sabroso, además que pudimos arreglar la casa y sacamos todos las cosas viejas que solo estaban estorbando; me alegra poder haber hecho algo por él en su día especial y de verdad espero poder hacer algo mejor para su cumpleaños.

Quiero agradecer a mi Mo @dimeilaz porque me ayudó mucho a resolver ayer y por permitirme usar su canción "Héroe" para el vídeo, a mi papá le gusta mucho su música y esta canción le encantó; muchas gracias a todos por ver mi short, nos vemos pronto💙

This father's day had me quite worried because, usually, my dad's birthday falls on the same day or the next day and only one celebration is done but this time it wasn't like that, my budget was quite short because of all the medical things that have come up lately and I prefer to give priority to my dad's birthday which falls on Tuesday, however, I didn't want to pass under the table father's day either.

My dad is a pretty simple man, he has never asked us for extravagant or very expensive gifts, however we always want to get him something nice as special; as my budget was pretty short I preferred to do something special from home so I got up to make a special breakfast and then he wanted to spruce up the house a bit so we got down to business while my dad's girlfriend made lunch. The house was unrecognizable but it took us a long time to fix it up, we had to leave super fast because Ñeñe had run out of food, as well as, we had to buy a wifi antenna for his computer and as the malls are a place where you get distracted easily, we started to walk between stores until it was almost nightfall.

We were too hungry so we decided to go to the fair to eat something, as I already knew that my dad had been wanting to eat Mexican food for a while and in the fair of the Sambil of Candelaria there is a place called "El Piquín" whose theme is purely Mexican, I took him there; the food was quite tasty, I didn't eat almost because the combo we ordered had little food and I preferred to order a sushi so my dad could taste it well. Afterwards we went home and since there was already a lunch ready, we saved cooking lunch the next day so it was a win-win.

It was a very entertaining afternoon, we saw a lot of stores, walked around a lot and ate tasty food, plus we were able to fix up the house and took out all the old stuff that was just getting in the way; I'm glad I was able to do something for him on his special day and I really hope I can do something better for his birthday.
