Today is another Tuesday and I will be participating in the Three Tunes Tuesday Initiative that was started by @ablaze
This is the 65th week, and my entry or song choice will be ALL ABOUT LOVE.
In discussing ALL ABOUT LOVE, I am going to share 3 Love/Romantic Songs that live in my head rent-free. In other words, these songs are songs I love so much and they are always on my mind.
They are:
☆ Let Her Go by Passenger
☆ All of Me by John Legend
☆ Love Someone by Lukas Graham
Let Her Go is a 2012 Soft Rock music that was released by the artist, Passenger.
The first time I heard this song was in the month of December 2019, when I accompanied some friends to visit a sick and aged Professor. He spoke so well about the song and shared some memories that accompanied this song, when his late wife was still alive.
From that moment onwards this song got a free accommodation space inside my head (lol). I don't collect rent from it.
It is a very lovely song, with lyrics that is relatable, based on reality and commonsensical.
You only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go

"All of Me" is a Pop song that was released by John Legend in 2013.
I think I've been with and known this song since forever, and it has also been one of my favourite love songs, together with a host of Ed Sheeran's songs. Well, it is unfortunate that I didn't choose any Ed Sheeran song this time around since my last piece was all about his songs.
"Love Someone" is the most recent song among the trio. It is a Pop song released in 2018 by the artist, Lukas Graham.
I first listened to this song in the first week of March 2020 when a friend of mine sent it to me for us to prepare for a musical presentation that was scheduled for April 2020. However, with the advent of Covid-19, the musical presentation didn't hold on again.
This is a lovely song and one worth listening to.
I had a hard time trying to find the best approach and way to sync all three songs. I hope I did justice in a way to this combo.
I played them on only one key (Key G) so that I will be easier for me to change from a song to another.
Permit the errors on this piece. I tried to make only 1 recording each, because if I continue stopping because of a single error it will take me next week to make a perfect mix, since three songs are involved and they need to flow seamlessly.
I hope you enjoy this piece
Till next week
