Captain's Ghost in Fog of War

I was fortunate to get two battles with Fog of War ruleset for this week's BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge, I lost this first battle and made sure the second battle is a must win for me.

A Tank with Heal ability or Tank Heal for support often does well in For of War ruleset, so learning from the previous battle which I lost using Uriel, I needed an Affliction ability card in my lineup. This is where Captain's Ghost comes in very useful for this fight.

Ignoring the slow speed of TORHILO THE FROZEN, I opted for it as my Tank due to the Void ability is has, I figured there is a likilwood of coming up against magic attacks so the Void ability is best suitable when used with Bortus.
Another reason for using Torhilo as my Tank it the rich health and Armor is has, I wanted a Tank to hold the frontline well, an Torhilo from experience isn't at being a reliable Tank.

I had DJINN OSHANNUS in the second spot in my lineup, also Oshannus is rich in health with Void and Phase abilities, Oshannus stepped into the frontline following the elimination of Torhilo and Oshannus turned out to be a much reliable Tank, the Phase ability was effective against some attacks which kept the Oshhanus in the fight till the end.

The ability of the Tank to stay in the frontline for a ruleset as this is vital, I expected my opponent using a Tank Heal like myself of a Tank with self-heal so I have to stop the Tank from healing, so CAPTAIN'S GHOST was tasked with the responsibility of stopping the opponent's Uriel from healing through the Affiction ability.

The Affliction ability was effective almost all enemy monsters were struck with it.

VENARI WAVESMITH in the fourth spot provided protection for my lineup with a +2 Armor protection on all friendly monsters. The Armor protection was helpful from the Double Strike range attack from Pelacor Abalest, as the annoying War Pegasus kept shattering the Armor protection of my Tank.

A Tank Heal was needed for my Tank and MERDAALI GUARDIAN was the one for that role with a speed of 3, it was quite useful having it in my lineup.

As the opponent's War Pegasus shatters the Armor of my Tank SWAMP SPITTER repairs with the Repair ability. Swamp Spitter occupied the sixth spot in my lineup, I have been fortunate to have it upgraded to level 5 and it has been doing a great job on the battlefield when tasked with the repair job.

So I got away with a victory quite comfortably.
