Well as you can see, that week has arrived in charge of our friend @mairene1, but it has coincided with my busiest time of the year. I don't doubt that I can't do a better version as my dad told me, but at least this one isn't 😅 I couldn't take my eyes off the lyrics due to insecurity of my English, and I didn't have time to set up my working tools like the home microphone. It's just me and my mobile phone. I actually shot the video vertically because there was no special space at home at the time and I literally just focused on myself, so I apologize again 🙏

Pues como ven, esa semana ha llegado a cargo de nuestra amiga @mairene1, pero ha coincidido con mi temporada más ocupada del año. No dudo que no pueda hacer una versión mejor tal como me dijo mi papá, pero al menos esta no lo es 😅 No podía despegar los ojos de la letra por inseguridad de mi inglés, y no tuve tiempo para instalar mis herramientas de trabajo como el micrófono casero. Solo somos mi celular y yo. De hecho grabé el video en vertical porque no había un espacio especial en casa en ese momento y literalmente solo me enfoqué en mi persona, así que me disculpo nuevamente 🙏

I was very young at the time, but it was always a familiar song for as long as I can remember; but still in my teens one day I stopped to really listen to it for the first time and wow, the tears were not long in coming, that woman performs with her soul and the lyrics are simple, but heartfelt and powerful.

Esta canción es grande, se mantuvo en cartelera por más de un año en su momento y sigue siendo de las primeras 5 más vendidas de toda la historia. Es parte de la banda sonora de la película El Guardaespaldas de 1992 y es un cover de la versión original de Dolly Parton de 1973. Yo era muy pequeño en ese entonces, pero siempre fue una canción conocida desde que tengo recuerdos; pero igual en mi adolescencia un día me detuve a escucharla realmente por primera vez y wow, las lágrimas no se hicieron esperar, esa mujer interpreta con el alma y la letra de la canción es sencilla, pero sincera y poderosa.

Por tercera vez me disculpo por este video, especialmente por el sonido, lo que tuve a la mano fue mi teléfono Tecno Pova II para grabar y aún así edité un poco con la aplicación Capcut. No podía dejar pasar esta edición y el mensaje de esta canción es un sentimiento que me caracteriza en la actualidad.
