Happy start of the week for all of us who make the Hive platform great! With this little post I want to inform and update you on the situation and health of my father @armandolnrs, as I owe a lot to the whole community for the support I have received from everyone, whether energetic, economic and the valuable healing prayer.

¡Feliz inicio de semana para todos los que hacemos grande a la plataforma de Hive!. Con este pequeño post quiero informarles y actualizarles sobre la situación y salud de mi padre @armandolnrs, ya que le debo mucho a toda la comunidad por el apoyo que he recibido de todos, ya se enérgico, económico y la valiosa oración sanadora.

On July 27th my father was involved in a terrible traffic accident. The car turned off and the steering wheel locked up. I am almost sure it is a Century, but I don't know much about cars and their characteristics. The fact is that he fell down a ravine and only because he was careful not to drive so fast, he is alive today.

El pasado 27 de Julio mi papá sufrió un terrible accidente de transito. El carro se apagó y el volante se trancó. Estoy casi seguro que es un Century, pero igual no conozco mucho de automóviles y sus características. El caso es que ha caído por un barranco y solo por la prudencia de no manejar tan rápido, él se encuentra vivo hoy.

His injuries were numerous and very ugly. In fact, yesterday I found out from the plastic surgeon that he arrived at the hospital with his nose completely open, since I was working in another city and did not see him during the first hours after the accident. As you can see in the pictures above, the external stitches have been removed. He is going to have a nasty scar, but these are things that don't matter much when you can celebrate life.

Sus heridas fueron numerosas y muy feas. De hecho ayer fue que me enteré por medio del cirujano plástico que llego con la nariz totalmente abierta al hospital, ya que yo me encontraba trabajando en otra ciudad y no lo vi las primeras horas luego del accidente. Como pueden ver en la fotografías de arriba, le han quitado los puntos externos. Va a tener una cicatriz fea, pero son cosas que no importan mucho cuando se puede celebrar la vida.

Among other less serious blows he suffered, what has worried us all the most was that he could not feel his legs from the moment of impact. He has already had two surgeries. The first was an emergency laminectomy on July 28th, and the second a couple of days ago where they reinforced the first job with screws and rods.

Entre otros golpes menos graves que sufrió, lo que más nos ha preocupado a todos fue que no sentía las piernas desde el momento del impacto. Ya ha tenido dos cirugías. La primera fue una laminectomía de emergencia el 28 de Julio, y la segunda hace un par de días donde le reforzaron el primer trabajo con tornillos y barras.

The expenses and studies have been barbaric, but little by little everything has been flowing. For the next few days he will be totally immobile on his back while the bone cement dries. We look forward to the day when he can at least sit up. It makes us all very happy that as the days go by he has sensations in many parts of his legs, and a few hours ago he had the sensation of moving his ankle a little. The whole family thinks that we are improving, although we know it will be a long process.

Los gastos y los estudios han sido bárbaros, pero poco a poco todo ha ido fluyendo. Por los próximos días estará totalmente inmóvil boca arriba mientras seca el cemento oseo. Esperamos muy ansiosos el día en que pueda sentarse al menos. Nos hace muy felices a todos que con el paso de los días tiene sensaciones en muchas partes de las piernas, y hace unas horas le dio la sensación de mover un poco el tobillo. Toda la familia piensa que vamos mejorando, aunque sabemos que será un proceso largo.
