Hive Open Mic | Week 173 | But I Remember You | Cover | Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti

Hello Hive Open Mic friends, I hope you're doing well. Today, #tbt Thursday I'm stopping by to share with you my video entry to week number 173, with a proposal from sister @rukkie perfect for remembering past life events. I've chosen a song that means a lot to me for several reasons; it's called "Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti" by Ruddy Pérezy published in 1991 by Lourdes Robles, but just like all of my millenniall generation, this important classic of Latin music came into our lives in 2000 with the imposing voice of Christina Aguilera (the rest is just a mountain and a snake).

Hoy, jueves de #tbt paso por aquí para compartirles mi video entrada a la semana número 173, con una propuesta de la hermana @rukkie perfecta para recordar eventos pasados de la vida. He elegido una canción que significa mucho para mí por variadas razones; se titula "Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti" de Ruddy Pérezy publicada en 1991 por Lourdes Robles, pero al igual que todos los de mi generación millenniall, este importante clásico de la música latina llegó a nuestras vidas en el año 2000 con la imponente voz de Christina Aguilera (lo demás es monte y culebra).

It is no secret that among international singers I am totally in love with Colombian Shakira, but Christina Aguilera is the voice of a generation; my favorite song is Por Siempre Tú, my favorite music video is Lady Marmalade and my favorite music album is Mi Reflejo, so I don't know how to explain that my favorite artist is Shakira hahaha. This song moves our deepest feelings, as there is a lot of joy in its lyrics, but also a lot of sadness. Although it is a song of heartbreak, it perfectly describes my feelings today. Maybe once I listened to this music and thought about some girl, but today, when I am again achieving emotional stability, it is inevitable for me to break down many times a day simply because of the memories.

Para nadie es un secreto que entre las cantantes internacionales estoy totalmente enamorado de la colombiana Shakira, pero Christina Aguilera es la voz de una generación; mi canción favorita es Por Siempre Tú, mi video musical favorito es Lady Marmalade y mi álbum musical favorito es Mi Reflejo, así que no sé cómo explicar que mi artista favorito es Shakira jajaja. Esta canción nos mueve los sentimientos más profundos, ya que hay mucha alegría en su letra, pero también mucha tristeza. Aunque es una canción de desamor, describe perfectamente mis sentimientos en la actualidad. Quizás alguna vez escuché esta música y pensé en alguna chica, pero hoy, cuando nuevamente estoy logrando la estabilidad emocional, es inevitable para mí derrumbarme muchas veces al día simplemente por los recuerdos.

I have shared many moments of joy with my mom, great friends and my musical group. After a year of very strong family situations, today I have to smile again on stage and give 100% in every concert, but at the end of the day always come the memories. Thank God now my memories and dreams with my dad are more pleasant, the good times are taking over my mind and I will always say that through my blog on Hive I have been able to heal and drain my pains, I only needed to return to the Hive Open Mic and now I'm here. But there are also many memories that as this song says, make me lose my calm and tear my soul, but only from facing them by playing what little I know on the cuatro and singing the lyrics, now I can say that I am standing up.

He compartido muchos momentos de alegría junto a mi mamá, grandes amigos y con mi agrupación musical. Después de un año de situaciones familiares muy fuertes, hoy me toca sonreír nuevamente en el escenario y dar el 100% en cada concierto, pero al final del día siempre llegan los recuerdos. Gracias a Dios ahora mis recuerdos y sueños con mi papá son más gratos, los buenos momentos se están apoderando de mi mente y siempre diré que a través de mi blog en Hive he podido sanar y drenar mis dolores, solamente me faltaba volver al Hive Open Mic y ahora estoy aquí. Pero también hay muchos recuerdos que como dice esta canción, me hacen perder la calma y se me desgarra el alma,pero solamente de enfrentarlos tocando lo poco que sé en el cuatro y cantando la letra, ahora puedo decir que me encuentro de pie.

As I said at the beginning, this song encompasses many things both personal and what it may mean to each of you who read me. I hope this cover will be something pleasing, as nothing will beat Christina Aguilera in performance, but it is the most ideal song for me this week. I have put a lot of heart into my videos, but I can summarize by telling you that I capture the photos and video with my Tecno Pova II and then I do a lot of editing with Shotcut, Photodirectory Audacity. I'll take advantage that today is Throwback Thursday added to the Memories theme to share a #tbd with my dad @armandolnrs that we share in the sister community of Music. The song Recuerdame and the movie Coco go hand in hand with this Memories theme.

Como les dije al inicio, esta canción abarca muchas cosas tanto personales como lo que pueda significar para cada uno de ustedes que me leen. Espero sea algo grato este cover, ya que nada superará a Christina Aguilera en interpretación, pero es la canción más ideal para mí esta semana. He puesto mucho corazón a mis videos, pero puedo resumir indicándoles que las fotos y el video las capturo con mi Tecno Pova II y luego hago muchas ediciones con Shotcut, Photodirectory Audacity.
