    About :

Greetings to the Hive Learners community. It has been a while since the last time I published a post for Creative Sunday.

I should have published my video earlier but I haven't had the opportunity to sit down, relax, and edit my video.

I am certain to an extent that most of us know Alicia Keys and this song, 'Girl on Fire' which I feel must have been one of her hit songs back then. Please correct me if I am wrong. The song was released in 2012 and was an instant success.

Since I am a part-time student and go to school during the weekends, I also stay over at school until Sunday.

A major reason is the stress of hitting the road early in the morning and having to make it to school on time the next morning. I find that it's easier for me to just find a safe place in school and have a good night's sleep before heading to class.

Another thing is that staying over at school helps me avoid the expense of having to spend so much on transportation costs.

We all know how red the market is. The dip isn't looking nice as well, so one has to find ways to minimize spending and save more.

The first video I recorded had to be scrapped. Yes, I scrapped it because I was looking at my phone's screen a lot.

I wasn't very familiar with some parts of the lyrics. So, I decided to start over and learn the lyrics by heart. This time I made sure to look into the camera and I was much more confident and natural in my performance. The final result was much better than the previous one and I was satisfied with it. I know I can still do better tho hehe.

I have mentioned how I record and edit my videos many times in my posts.

    The first thing I do is;

I learn the song and understand the arrangement.

The next thing I do is to record the video.

Depending on my mood, I may chose not to or chose to record a separate audio.

I record using bandlab, and the fx settings I use is Highvox.

Then I export and save the audio file.

The next thing I do is to my Inshot app. The app is where I bring all the pieces together.

The final result is what I publish on my blog and I always have fun doing it.

Most times, I use Moises.ai to extract the instrumental for a song I want to sing, while other times, just download the instrumentals from tubidy.mobi.

I also like the MX player app, which allows me listen to the instrumental with my earbuds and record a video.

You know how frustrating it can be to record a video while listening to an instrumental if the music randomly stops when you click on record. But with Mx Player, I can easily record a video and play the instrumental in the background without any issues.

The steps above are basically what I do in the process of creating my video. Thanks for taking the time to listen.

I hope you enjoy listening to this one. Thank you.
