In a few weeks from now, we will start exams and I am still asking myself if I am well prepared.

I recorded my video for the Afritunes community weekly musical event on August 23rd. The song I chose to sing this week is 'My Confidence' by Mercy Chinwo.

I have been listening to the song for a while now and have been trying to score it. Well, Mercy Chinwo's adlib in the song still feels difficult and that's why I couldn't finish it to the end.

So earlier, I was talking about my exams that are upcoming. While I thought about the fact that I haven't read enough due to work and trying to secure the bag in the little way I can so as not to go broke, I imagined how it is going for people who have to leave there house very early in the morning to get to their workplace and return late at night.

It's a struggle for them to manage their time and energy while still having enough to study. It's hard to focus on exams when you're exhausted and have obligations to fulfil. I'm grateful for the opportunity I have now to work from home.

Even though I have a lot on my mind, I am grateful that at least I don't have to go through the struggle of leaving home to work, facing the struggles of the road, and returning home overly exhausted. I am so thankful for the privilege of being able to work from home, taking breaks when I need them, and spending more time with my family. It has been a blessing in disguise.

The moment I realised that, it dawned on me that the more we focus on things we don't have, the less we appreciate the privilege of the things we do have. We can all be thankful for the things that we do have, even if there are still things that we don't have. It's important to be grateful for what we have and to make the most of it.

What does it mean when one says their confidence is in God?

It means that they trust in God's plan and that they believe that God will provide for them and help them through any difficult situations. It also means that they have faith that God will guide them to make the right decisions in life.

I couldn't say much about it in the intro of my post, however, this is the stage of life that I am in. My confidence is in God. Proverbs 17:1 says that as humans, we make our plans, but God has the last word.

With all that has been happening in my life, I know better that I can't go wrong trusting God completely in any situation.

As long as I make sure that I do my best, the rest will be taken care of by God.
