Hello Afri-Tunes people
We lot Africa and hats why we are all here sharing music of African decent.
Today for the Afri-Tunes 22nd week I share a favourite song by Kenny K'ore called BEBELUBE, which means the froward.
Froward means someone who is Disobedient and untrainable, making it hard for a just cause to be reached. It's so sad we have such in our society especially those who want to give the country to the hands of people who are shaking already and need support to hold them from falling while standing.
In the song it says in Yoruba, that a child who says his mother and Father can not jump, has he also jumped. This is satyrical to mean that the child who doesn't respect his parents can not go far.
In African we uphold respect for parents and elders well, and children are taught this, although westernization seem to fight this, we could only get better.
Sharing this song creates awareness that we can uphold what is right and benefiting for all. We stand in wisdom.
