AFRITUNES WEEK 86|| DADDY WEY DEY PAMPER

Hello AFRITUNES WEEK 86,
Glad to be here and thank God for the benefit of today being alive.

The song on my post today is Daddy wey dey pamper, with the usually me being myself I added some tunes to the rap part.

I hope it makes sense, to you all as it does to me.

Daddy wey dey pamper is a song I actually found hard to relate too easily with because I have been through times in my journey with God where I know he doesn't pamper all that much. The bible say him who God loves, he chestizes that he may bring forth fruit of righteousness.

Here quoted
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

In this light I came to be careful with the word "familiarity", not to be too familiar with the things if God that I begin to assume to know his next move. This familiarity has cost men their calling and divine expectations.

But we thank God for his mercies through Christ. We received grace and abundance of it, to have been able to also relate well to this Daddy wey dey also pamper, but him dey flog too sha.

Let us draw near to him as Father but also bearing in mind that he is Lord and a King as well and we are both his Sons and also his Servant.

Many people know Jesus as Saviour, but they deny him as Lord. So he services them by saving them but when he gives them Commands, they refuse.

They use him like ATM card, only when they need something, but when he needs them to bear a burden, they let the flesh take the best part.

Here is a call to lean not on your own understand and trust with all your heart. Acknowledge who God is to you in all your ways, not part of them. The pleasant ways and the unpleasant ones too. Then he shall direct your part.

So you see it took a thing to like the song and even sing it here today. Moses bliss is a great artist, and I love his heart for the Gospel to reach everyone through his music.
