MUSIC: Three Tune Tuesday 71 - 3 Songs about "Love/Lust at First Sight!" (2 Covers + 1 Original!)

Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from Cape Town, South Africa.

This is my sixth week contributing to "Three Tunes Tuesday", started by @ablaze. It is week 72 overall!

I am trying to stick to a set pattern, where I perform 2 cover songs (written by famous artists) and 1 original song (written by me) around a theme. This week I've chosen the theme of "Love/Lust at First Site"!

For the first song, I've chosen something that was a catchy hit from about 9 or 10 years ago (can you believe it!). It still sounds pretty fun and fresh to me and I enjoyed remembering it! I had never seen the video before and you should watch it - it has a surprise ending! Hahaha - I'm talking about "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen!

After that, we have a bit more of a serious love song's take on Love at First Site, which takes me back to being a young teenager in 1999 - "I knew I loved you Before I Met You" by Sound Garden. Dudes, what does that even mean? Hahaha

And now it's time for my original of the week! It is a song about how I would feel if I was a young lady in a bar/pub and some guy tried to approach me with a pick-up line. Do Pick-Up Lines ever work? Please let me know in the comments if a pick-up line has ever worked for you or has impressed you?

My own song is literally called "The Pick Up Line Song"... should it have another name?
