The Canaima National Park hides multiple secrets and natural treasures of incalculable value, there are many waterfalls, rivers, ravines and spectacular settings that can be seen along the entire trunk 10, but the Arapena waterfall in particular has a strength incredible, at this stage of the journey they never told us where we were going, but as we walked towards what seemed to be the edge of a river bank we began to hear a loud roar and immediately perceived the spray of cold water that began to caress our face, it was at this precise moment that I realized that what I would have in front of my eyes would be truly astonishing, about 20 steps later we would find this enigmatic scene, it is a huge mass of water that falls into the void for a precipice in the shape of a horseshoe and whose sound manages to shudder to the depths of our being, standing here at the viewpoint on the edge of the waterfall one feels like nature Rarity is infinitely stronger than us. Sometimes we are overwhelmed by large buildings or man-made constructions that seem to defy all the laws of nature, but standing in this place in Venezuela I realize that creation is something that exceeds all our ability to understanding and we can only admire the immensity of our planet.

During our stay in El Salto Arapena we were told that this was an appropriate place to practice water sports, this seemed surprising to me since for me it is unimaginable to think how a person can enter those waters that seem to be so Indomitable, but the The reality is that this shows us how man and nature can coexist with each other without harming each other.

El Parque Nacional Canaima esconde múltiples secretos y tesoros naturales de incalculable valor, son muchas las cascadas, los ríos, las quebradas y los escenarios espectaculares que se aprecian a lo largo de toda la troncal 10, pero el salto Arapena en particular cuenta con una fuerza increíble, en esta etapa del recorrido nunca nos dijeron a dónde nos dirigimos, pero al caminar hacia lo que parecía ser el borde la ribera de un río comenzamos a escuchar un fuerte rugir y de inmediato percibimos el rocío de una fría agua que comenzaba acariciar nuestro rostro, fue en este preciso momento en el que me percaté que lo que tendría frente a mis ojos sería verdaderamente asombros, unos 20 pasos más adelante nos encontraríamos con este enigmática escena, se trata de una enorme masa de agua que cae al vacío por un precipicio en forma de herradura y cuyo sonido logra estremecer hasta lo más profundo de nuestro ser, al estar parado aquí en el mirador al borde de la cascada uno siente como la naturaleza es infinitamente más fuerte que nosotros. A veces nos abruman los edificios de gran tamaño o las construcciones hechas por el hombre que parecieran desafiar a todas las leyes de la naturaleza, pero al estar parado en este lugar de Venezuela me doy cuenta que la creación es algo que supera toda nuestra capacidad de entendimiento y solo nos queda admirar la Inmensidad de nuestro planeta.

Durante nuestra estancia en El Salto Arapena se nos indicó que este era un lugar apropiado para la práctica de deportes acuáticos, esto me pareció sorprendente ya que para mí es inimaginable pensar como una persona puede adentrarse en esas aguas que parecieran ser tan Indomables, pero la realidad es que esto nos demuestra como el hombre y la naturaleza pueden convivir mutuamente sin dañarse el uno al otro.
