December 31st of each year is a date that has a very special meaning, because it marks the end of a cycle and the beginning of another, that is, it is a celebration where we leave behind the complexities, difficulties and mistakes of the year to face new challenges, where we will undoubtedly put into practice the lessons learned and where we prepare to continue the successes of the previous period, but always with the mind that this day that begins will always be much better and will be full of great and new achievements.

El 31 de diciembre de cada año es una fecha que cuenta con un significado muy especial, pues marca el fin de un ciclo y el inicio de otro, es decir, se trata de una celebración en donde dejamos atrás las complejidades, dificultades y errores del año para enfrentarnos a nuevos retos, en donde sin duda alguna pondremos en práctica las lecciones aprendidas y donde nos preparamos para continuar los éxitos del periodo anterior, pero siempre con la mente puesta en que esta jornada que inicia siempre será muchísimo mejor y estará llena de grandes y nuevos logros.

Although in my city there are huge events to celebrate the arrival of the new year, since I was a child I have always liked to share with my family and loved ones, because it is precisely that feeling of peace, love and sincere unity that drives me to move forward and fills me with good energy, which are extremely necessary to start off on the right foot a year that in particular this will be a longer day.

A pesar de que en mi ciudad se realizan eventos multitudinarios para celebrar la llegada del año nuevo, desde niño siempre me ha gustado compartir al lado de mis familiares y seres queridos, ya que es justamente esa sensación de paz, amor y sincera unidad la que me impulsa a seguir adelante y la que me llena de buenas energías, las cuales son extremadamente necesarias para arrancar con buen pie un año que en particular este será un día más largo.

I am sure that the wishes expressed as a family are those that have greater reach and power, it is in this way as one voice we raise to heaven our pleas for world peace, solidarity, prosperity, love and stability for our country, as this is the only way to continue moving forward steadily towards development and progress, this is how once again sitting at the same table and with joy being all together we were able to give a toast and at the same time embrace each other while celebrating the arrival of the new year.

Estoy seguro de que los deseos expresados en familia son los que tienen mayor alcance y poder, es de esta forma como una sola voz elevamos al cielo nuestras súplicas por la paz mundial, la solidaridad, la prosperidad, el amor y la estabilidad para nuestro país, ya que esta es la única forma de poder seguir avanzando con paso firme hacia el desarrollo y el progreso, es así como una vez más sentados en una misma mesa y con alegría estar todos juntos pudimos dar un brindis y al mismo tiempo abrazarnos mientras celebramos la llegada del año nuevo.

My parents and my uncles and aunts were more than enough to spend a friendly evening, quiet and full of joy, where together we enjoyed good anecdotes and shared the experiences lived in the year that was about to end, also each one expressed their projects and wishes for 2024 which will surely be a super interesting year and full of new challenges, which as always we will overcome one by one with the help of a firm and cohesive family core.

Mis padres y mis tíos éramos más que suficientes para pasar una velada amigable, tranquila y llena de alegría, en donde juntos disfrutamos de buenas anécdotas y compartimos las experiencias vividas en el año que estaba por terminar, además cada quien expresaba sus proyectos y deseos para el 2024 que seguramente será un año superinteresante y lleno de nuevos desafíos, los cuales como siempre iremos superando uno a uno con la ayuda de un núcleo familiar firme y cohesionado.

As the night progressed it seemed that the minutes ran faster, therefore, dinner surprised us on the stroke of midnight, and just as in the middle of the celebration, the fireworks and the joy of the city, we had the opportunity to share some delicious Hallacas, a good piece of ham bread and a cold salad, all these elements prepared by the incredible hands of my mother, I want once again put her touch of flavor and perfection to what would inadvertently become the first meal of the year.

A medida que avanzaba la noche parecía que los minutos corrían más rápido, por lo tanto, la cena nos sorprendió sobre el filo de la medianoche, y así como en medio de la celebración, los fuegos artificiales y la alegría de la ciudad, nosotros tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir unas deliciosas Hallacas, un buen trozo de pan de jamón y una ensalada fría, todos estos elementos preparados por las increíbles manos de mi madre, quiero una vez más le puso su toque de sabor y perfección a la que sin querer se convertiría en la primera comida del año.

The next day as is customary every year hallacas and bollitos would constitute the meal of the day, since these are foods that are easy to heat and at the same time allow us all to rest and enjoy the tranquility of a serene and peaceful day, where little by little the euphoria of the month of December passes and where, Therefore, we begin to head towards a new reality that comes with great strength and determination, this is how we can understand that we should not lose a second of this year and from now on we must put our ideas to roll and it is necessary to give our best effort in order to achieve that successful and prosperous year that we want so much.

Al día siguiente como es costumbre cada año las hallacas y los bollitos constituirían la comida del día, puesto que se trata de alimentos fáciles de calentar y al mismo tiempo nos permite a todos descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de un día sereno y pacífico, en donde poco a poco pasa la euforia del mes de diciembre y en donde, por lo tanto, comenzamos a enfilarnos hacia una nueva realidad que llega con mucha fuerza y determinación, es de esta forma como podemos entender que no se debe perder ni un segundo de este año y desde ya debemos poner a rodar nuestras ideas y es necesario dar nuestro mejor esfuerzo para así lograr ese año exitoso y próspero que tanto deseamos.

With a very happy spirit and a heart full of energy from the city of Caracas, capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, I send you my most sincere and great wishes for this year 2024, if in a period of time where good vibes, great energies, health and prosperity who will take your steps towards a great and bright future, where we can conquer our dreams and goals and where we can definitely be much happier every day.

Con un espíritu muy alegre y el corazón lleno de energías desde la ciudad de Caracas, capital de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, les envío mis más sinceros y grandes deseos para que este año 2024, si en un periodo de tiempo en donde las buenas vibras, las grandes energías, la salud y la prosperidad quien sus pasos hacia un futuro grande y brillante, en donde logremos conquistar nuestros sueños y metas y en donde definitivamente podamos ser cada día mucho más felices.
