"There is fire in twenty-three, in twenty-three" So says a song by La Sonora Ponceña and although it is set in New York City here in Venezuela for many years it has been adopted as its own and reminds one of the popular areas of the city of Caracas, the 23 de Enero parish, a place known for having a combative, irreverent and anti-system spirit, qualities that cause fear to many, but the truth is that in those buildings, in those houses and streets what is lived in a great spirit of struggle and daily improvement. What is important to highlight is that the people who live here are usually lovers of music, joy, dance and rumba, therefore every occasion is a good one to throw a party in style, this time One morning, when the clock struck 12 o'clock at night, the rockets shot into the sky, explosions of colors burst into the darkness like rays of light that fill everyone's eyes and spirits with hope.

"Hay fuego en el veintitrés, en el veintitrés" Así dice una canción de La Sonora Ponceña y si bien se ambienta en la ciudad de Nueva York acá en Venezuela desde hace muchos años se ha adoptado como propia y recuerda a una de las zonas populares de la ciudad de Caracas, la parroquia 23 de Enero, lugar conocido por tener un espíritu combativo, irreverente y antisistema, cualidades qué a muchos les causa temor, pero lo cierto es que en esos edificios, en esas casas y calles lo que se vive en un gran espíritu de lucha y superación diaria. Lo que sí es importante resaltar es que la gente que hace vida acá suele ser amante de la música, de la alegría, el baile y la rumba, por lo tanto toda ocasión es buena para hacer una fiesta por todo lo alto, en esta oportunidad en una madrugada cuando el reloj marco las 12 de la noche los cohetes salieron disparados hacia el cielo, explosiones de colores irrumpieron en la oscuridad como rayos de luz que llenan de esperanza los ojos y el espíritu de todos por igual.
