Beautiful morning everyone,

I'm so happy to be here today for this week's presentation. I personally is so inlove with the theme of this week which says "A good friend". Shout out to my friend @jesus-son for choosing such a wonderful topic for this week.

Today I will be doing a cover of "The lily of the valley" which is a Christian hymn. The hymn was composed in 1881 by "William Charles Fry" and the song was found after his death. He wrote the words of the song while the music adopted for the song was composed by William Shakespeare Hays.

While I was thinking about this topic and which song to sing, it came to my mind that there is no better friend than our Lord Jesus Christ. No other love is greater than His love for us that he even gave his life for us on the cross. Shortly afterwards this hymn popped up in my mind, for he is the lily of the valley.

The hymn talks about how I've found a friend in Jesus and he's everything to me. It compare the relationship between us Christians and Jesus like a special one between lovers. It describes how pure Jesus is by comparing him to the lilies of the valley and how special He is by comparing him to the fairest of ten thousand souls.

I love to sing this hymn whenever it feels like I'm alone and no one understands what I'm going through. It reminds me that I've got a friend in Jesus and He will never ever forsake me. It also reminds me to cast all my troubles and sorrows on him and he will give me rest.

I decided to sing the song with an accompaniment of high life beat gotten here because most times in our churches, we love to sing this particular hymn with beat so we can dance to it so I tried to recreate that. I do hope you enjoy and connect with this hymn.

Hermosa mañana para todos,

Estoy muy feliz de estar aquí hoy para la presentación de esta semana. A mí personalmente me encanta el tema de esta semana que dice "Un buen amigo". Gracias a mi amigo @jesus-son por elegir un tema tan maravilloso para esta semana.

Hoy estaré haciendo un cover de "El lirio de los valles" que es un himno cristiano. El himno fue compuesto en 1881 por "William Charles Fry" y la canción fue encontrada después de su muerte. Escribió la letra de la canción mientras que la música adoptada para la canción fue compuesta por William Shakespeare Hays.

Mientras pensaba en este tema y que canción cantar, me vino a la mente que no hay mejor amigo que nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Ningún otro amor es más grande que Su amor por nosotros que incluso dio su vida por nosotros en la cruz. Poco después me vino a la mente este himno, porque él es el lirio de los valles.

El himno habla de cómo encontré un amigo en Jesús y él lo es todo para mí. Compara la relación entre nosotros los cristianos y Jesús como una relación especial entre amantes. Describe cuán puro es Jesús al compararlo con los lirios del valle y cuán especial es al compararlo con la más bella de diez mil almas.

Me encanta cantar este himno cada vez que siento que estoy solo y nadie entiende por lo que estoy pasando. Me recuerda que tengo un amigo en Jesús y Él nunca me abandonará. También me recuerda echar todos mis problemas y penas sobre él y él me dará descanso.

Decidí cantar la canción con un acompañamiento de ritmo de alta vida obtenido aquí porque la mayoría de las veces en nuestras iglesias, nos encanta cantar este particular himno con ritmo para que podamos bailarlo, así que traté de recrearlo. Espero que disfruten y se conecten con este himno.
