Beautiful morning everyone,

So happy to be here in another week of Hive Open Mic which is week 141. The theme for this week is "Winter" and I want to give a special shout out to @purplesinger for choosing this wonderful theme. I so much relate with this theme as its close to Christmas period and this period is naturally known with Winter. Though here in Nigeria, we don't experience Winter. We experience harmattan instead but its still very very cold.

This period is a festive one filled with Christmas songs and Carol songs. It's one of my favorite periods of the year. For the theme of this week, I will be doing a cover of the song Winter Wonderland by Michael Bublé. This song talks about the Winter period and how to have fun and all that. It's a song that is normally played during Christmas period and the lyrics suit perfectly the theme for this week. Its a song I usually listen to but don't know the lyrics well before. Thankfully due to this theme, I was able to learn the lyrics and know the song well.

The song wasn't quite easy when I was learning it and even making the video. This is because they changed key from high to low and low to high. Singing in Acapella with no instruments guidance in changing the keys made it quite challenging but I tried my best to give a good presentation. I do hope you like it.

Hermosa mañana para todos,

Muy feliz de estar aquí en otra semana de Hive Open Mic, que es la semana 141. El tema de esta semana es "Invierno" y quiero agradecer especialmente a @purplesinger por elegir este maravilloso tema. Me relaciono tanto con este tema ya que se acerca al período navideño y este período se conoce naturalmente con el invierno. Aunque aquí en Nigeria, no experimentamos el invierno. Experimentamos harmattan en su lugar, pero todavía hace mucho, mucho frío.

Este período es festivo, lleno de canciones navideñas y villancicos. Es uno de mis períodos favoritos del año. Para el tema de esta semana, haré un cover de la canción Winter Wonderland de Michael Bublé. Esta canción habla sobre el período de invierno y cómo divertirse y todo eso. Es una canción que normalmente se toca durante el período navideño y la letra se adapta perfectamente al tema de esta semana. Es una canción que suelo escuchar pero no sé bien la letra antes. Afortunadamente debido a este tema, pude aprender la letra y conocer bien la canción.

La canción no fue muy fácil cuando la estaba aprendiendo e incluso haciendo el video. Esto se debe a que cambiaron la clave de alta a baja y de baja a alta. Cantar en Acapella sin la guía de los instrumentos para cambiar las tonalidades hizo que fuera bastante desafiante, pero hice todo lo posible para dar una buena presentación. Espero que les guste.
