Saludos querida comunidad de Hive en especial "Music", hoy les traigo un Cover del tema "Barlovento", letra y música del Maestro Eduardo Serrano, decidí hacer esta versión, ya que es uno de las canciones emblemáticas de mi país y me encanta. Espero sea del agrado de todos ustedes, mi usuario @geronimamunoz.

Este tema se popularizó por el Tenor-Músico, Actor y Compositor Venezolano Alfredo Sadel, quien hizo una de las mejores versiones, grabado en el año 1955, aparte, el Maestro Rafael Montaño junto a Victor Morillo, en el año lo escuché en Lecherías, Estado Anzóategui, recuerdo era un evento producido por la Artista Plástico Gladys Meneses. Por otra parte, el tema Barlovento lo hizo el Maestro Eduardo Serrano, dedicado a la región barloventeña del Estado Miranda, allí predomina la música afrovenezolana, los tambores culo e´puya, mina, curbeta y quitiplás, son algunos de los principales instrumentos que se ejecutan allí. En el caso de la letra de Barlovento habla de la cotidianidad de la gente del pueblo, los conuqueros que trabajan la tierra, las negras de facciones finas, el género fulía, la fiesta de San Juan, entre otros elementos típicos de la zona.

Por ejemplo el Mina, es un tambor largo de forma cilíndrica que se toca sobre dos palos cruzados que sirven de base para poder percutir con los laures y en la boca del tambor que es hecha generalmente con el cuero del Venado. Por otra parte, la Curbata o curbeta, es un tambor más pequeño que se ejecuta sobre sus dos patas y siempre está al lado del Tambor Mina.
