Catando Ron Caribú

Esta ha sido la primera vez que pruebo el Ron Caribú, y debo admitir que me sorprendió. Aunque no podría decir que es mi ron favorito, si se posiciona entre mis rones favoritos. Indagando un poco por pagina oficial de Ron Caribú, descubrí que ha sido premiado en varias competiciones internacionales y esto corrobora la excelencia de los rones venezolanos.

Mi experiencia degustando este Ron ha sido fabulosa porque a pesar de ser un ron joven tiene muy buen sabor, como bien lo dice la etiqueta de la botella es un ron suave y dulce. Quizá no tenga un carácter de mucha fuerza, pero si es un muy buen ron. A continuación quiero dejarles la ficha técnica de este ron:

NOTAS DE CATA

En vista: Un bonito color dorado brillante.

En nariz: Predomina un suave aroma a madera, caramelo y trazas de vainilla.

En boca: Sabor suave, resalta los aromas antes percibidos, y los tonos de vainilla se hacen mas persistentes, y el tostado de la madera se nota con un poco más de carácter.

Palabras finales:

A simple vista se ve que es un ron joven, pero como nos lo dice la etiqueta, el ron es suave y dulce, siento me ha gustado mucho, creo que es un buen ron para tener en casa y compartir con familiares o amigos un par de tragos y una charla agradable. Ha sido la primera vez que pruebo un ron de esta casa ronera, y no me ha decepcionado. Aunque desconozco el precio del ron en el mercado, considero que va le cada centavo de su valor ya que es un excelente ron. Aunque me ha quedad la duda del por qué no tiene el sello de denominación de origen y quizá sea por el tipo de barrica que usan. Si me preguntan si lo recomendaría, diría que sí, es un buen ron.

Tasting Caribú Rum

This was the first time I tried Caribú Rum, and I must admit that I was surprised. Although I could not say that it is my favorite rum, it is one of my favorite rums. Digging a little on Ron Caribú's official website, I discovered that it has been awarded in several international competitions and this corroborates the excellence of Venezuelan rums.

My experience tasting this rum has been fabulous because despite being a young rum it has a very good flavor, as the label on the bottle says it is a smooth and sweet rum. It may not have a very strong character, but it is a very good rum. Below I want to leave you the technical data sheet of this rum:

TASTING NOTES.

In view: A nice bright golden color.

On the nose: A soft aroma of wood, caramel and traces of vanilla predominates.

On the palate: Smooth flavor, highlighting the aromas previously perceived, and the vanilla tones become more persistent, and the toasted wood is noted with a little more character.

Final words:

At first glance it looks like a young rum, but as the label tells us, the rum is smooth and sweet, I feel I liked it a lot, I think it is a good rum to have at home and share with family or friends a couple of drinks and a nice chat. It was the first time I tried a rum from this rum house, and I was not disappointed. Although I do not know the price of the rum in the market, I consider that it will get every penny of its value as it is an excellent rum. Although I have doubts as to why it does not have the appellation of origin seal and perhaps it is because of the type of barrel they use. If you ask me if I would recommend it, I would say yes, it is a good rum.
