Greetings my dear friends of the Hive Open Mic, once with you @nellynohemi invites us to week 161 with a great theme that invites us to the creativity "My Original Song" selected by our dear and beautiful friend @fernanblog, partner who stole the hearts of all of us for Being and Being for all. A big hug loaded with a lot of family love for you. Today I don't bring you a song from me, but from my beloved grandfather Eustacio Linares "The Coconut".
This song "The Coconut" is lyrics and music by Eustacio Linares, my grandfather, it is a Venezuelan merengue with very funny lyrics where it narrates a date on the beach of a couple who would meet for the first time.
I chose this song because it takes me back to my childhood when my grandfather would visit us and he always sang it with his jocularity and even dramatized it for us. Also because it was the song with which I started in this community two years ago, in that entry I am accompanied by my brother @armandolnrs and my sister-in-law @zorajr.
Wow!! How many beautiful memories 🥰.
I want to highlight the track work done by my brother @osomeltrozo, whom I thank for his help in assembling my entry this week. I love you brother 🥰.
How always I thank my son Carlos Funes for the photo, editing and assembly of my video, to all who visit my blog and leave their comments and suggestions to continue growing. To all God bless you.

El Coco
Ayer le dije en el pueblo
Que aquí en la playa
La iba a esperar
Que en una mata de coco
La cinta azul
Sería la señal
Me está picando la plaga
Hay mucha brisa
Y no se que hacer
Pues temo que un coco seco
En mi cabeza
Pueda caer
Coco
Tenme compasión
Coco
Déjame esperar
Mira que si te desprende
Coco
Me puedes matar
Y en la menuda arenilla
Escribí el nombre de mi ideal
Fije la vista hacia el cielo
Vi las gaviotas revolotear
La vi venir paso a paso
Cuando empezaba el atardecer
Ya no me importa la plaga
Ni el coco seco si va a caer
Coco
Tennos compasión
Coco
Déjanos gozar
Mira que si se desprende
Coco
Nos puedes matar
ingles
Yesterday I told him in town
that here on the beach
I was going to wait for her
that in a coconut tree
the blue ribbon
would be the sign
The plague is biting me
there is a lot of breeze
And I do not know what to do
Well, I fear that a dry coconut
In my head
may fall
Coconut
have mercy on me
Coconut
let me wait
Look what if it detaches you
Coconut
can you kill me
And in the little sand
I wrote the name of my ideal
Look up to the sky
I saw the seagulls flutter
I saw her coming step by step
When the sunset began
I don't care about the plague anymore
Not even the dry coconut if it is going to fall
Coconut
have mercy on us
Coconut
let us enjoy
See if it comes off
Coconut
you can kill us
