Hello everyone @afri-tunes community, compliments of the season and i wish you all Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance. Christmas is here again which is a season of celebration, joy, peace, glad tidings and other well wishes. Christmas is one of the major festive celebrated all around the world annually every December 25 and is heralded with the major greeting of "Merry Christmas". It's a season of love, sharing, benevolence and these are expressed in family, community, society, nationally and internationally. Infact, to know how widely known and accepted the season is, it is usually a holiday period so that everyone can really enjoy the season to the fullest and celebrate it with loved ones.

The Afri-tunes community is also not left out in this celebration and i appreciate the moderators and organizers of this community for deeming it fit to organize this wonderful "Afri-Christmas Volume 2" this week in celebration of this season. Afri-tunes community has been notable in promoting/ celebrating african music and this has helped in bringing these wonderful pieces to limelight. Once again, kudos to this community.

Christmas is a time/season of the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ whose coming brought peace on the earth and is the expression of God's love to the world. One of the significance of Christmas is the fulfilment of the prophecy spoken many years before the birth of Christ and which later came into fulfilment. Hence, christmas is a rememberance of the love of God to man on earth been expressed by the birth of Jesus.

In Africa, christmas is a well celebrated festive which while growing up as a child we look forward to because of Christmas chicken, clothes and sometimes holiday visit to family members. Also, it is remarkable to say that the Christmas eve is of importance aswell where dramas, songs, orayers etc are offered to God looking forward to tge Christmas day. Christmas carols are also of important recognition where Christmas songs either traditional, contemporary or classical are sang accompanied by various other activities.

I, @fab-tay is glad to do the cover of this song "I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas" which is a famous Christmas song sang in most African countries even round the world as it herald us into this wonderful season. I chose this song as a way of saying a merry christmas to everyone in this community and to commemorate this wonderful season. I did this cover accompanying the song with my electric keyboard 🎹 which i enjoyed playing.
