Una canción que tiene ya muchos años y que recuerdo con cariño es "Poema de Salvación", este es un cántico bastante hermoso de Olivares. Con palabras sencillas que no pretenden ningún decoro, percibí en aquel entonces la predominante sinceridad en espíritu que envuelve a la canción.

El sacrificio de Jesús, como lo representa Olivares, puede ser percibido como arte, arte hermoso y perfecto, un poema, poema de amor y salvación, poema que habla y expresa esa profunda forma de amar que tiene Jesucristo, una forma que va más allá de los pensamientos y más allá de lo que se puede imaginar.

"Ayúdame a serte fiel" es una frase de la canción que me gusta mucho. Este es un mundo lleno de distracciones, convivimos día y noche con la carne y sus deseos, hay influencias por todas partes, el día a día a veces nos afana, distintos deleites nos apartan de la voluntad de adiós; si dependiera solo demis fuerzas creo que estaría perdido, por eso también oro "ayúdame a serte fiel".

La versión que Olivares estrenó hace años es bastante rock, sin embargo, la versión que Marcos Witt hizo de la canción, estrenada un poco más tarde, es la versión que yo escuché, la que más recuerdo y por ende la que seleccioné para el día de hoy.

Curiosamente esto es algo que ha pasado a veces: una canción es lanzada, alguien versiona esa canción, y es esa versión la que gusta a las tendencias. Me recuerda un poco a "Carita de Gato", una canción muy bonita que escuché mucho y fue mucho después que me enteré que Lorenzini no fue quien escribió la canción.
