Esta historia creo que ya se las he contado antes, pero es inevitable no recordarla cuando interpreto canciones de Armando manzanero. Tenia como 12 años cuando empecé a notar que había un estilo musical que me llamaba mucho más la atención. El Rock, genero musical que definitivamente fue pieza importante en mi adolescencia. El caso es que mi mamá se fue de viaje por mucho tiempo y cuando estaba por regresar nos llamo a mí y a mi hermana para avisarnos y saber cómo estábamos. Ella me dice que me trae un regalo, un disco de eso que suelo escuchar con mis amigos. Que era algo nuevo que estaba de moda. Bueno, créanme que en lo primero que pensé fue en Korn y su disco ¨Follow the Leader¨ por supuesto que lo deseaba. Ella solo me dio esa información.

^{I think I've told you this story before, but it's inevitable not to remember it when I perform Armando Manzanero's songs. I was about 12 years old when I started to notice that there was a musical style that caught my attention. Rock, a musical genre that was definitely an important part of my adolescence. The thing is that my mum went on a long trip and when she was about to come back she called me and my sister to let us know how we were doing. She told me that she was bringing me a present, a record that I used to listen to with my friends. It was something new that was in fashion. Well, believe me the first thing I thought of was Korn and their album "Flow the Leader" of course I wanted it. She just gave me that information.}

Espere con ansias su llegada, cada noche me decía ¨por fin mamá le empezará a gustar que escuche rock¨ si me duermo más temprano el día más más rápido jajaja… Cosas así pensaba para tener el regalo de mamá. Ese día estaba por llegar y bueno, llego. Mi mamá nos abrazó, nos dijo que nos extrañaba y si habíamos limpiado nuestras habitaciones. Bueno, eso siempre era un trabajo duro para nosotros jajaja… Cenamos y al terminar nos quedamos en la mesa conversando por mucho rato hasta que llegó el momento de darnos los regalos. Yo estaba que me comía las uñas (normalmente no lo hago) a mi hermana le trajo un bolso nuevo y a mí un disco de ARMANDO MANZANERO… O sea, ¿qué pasó? _Grite yo_ ¿Sí, ese no era el que tu querías? _Me dijo ella_ No mamá ni sé quien es este enano _Le dije yo_ Bueno, ese es tú regalo… Finalizó ella.

Things like that I thought to have mum's gift. That day was about to arrive and well, it arrived. My mum hugged us, told us she missed us and if we had cleaned our rooms. Well, that was always hard work for us hahaha... We had dinner and when we finished we stayed at the table talking for a long time until it was time to give each other our presents. I was biting my nails (I don't normally do that), my sister got a new handbag and I got an ARMANDO MANZANERO record... So, what happened? I shouted _Yes, that wasn't the one you wanted? She said to me_ No mum, I don't even know who this midget is _I said_ Well, that's your present... She finished.}

No me quedó de otra que escuchar a ese hombrecito que al instante amé su música. Creo que en mí siempre estuvo ese lado rematico el cual no quería aceptar. Pasé muchos meses escuchando al que ahora considero un gran artistas, cantante, compositor y productor. Canciones como: Esta tarde vi llover, Nada personal, Adoro, entre otras, fueron canciones claves para aún recordar a este gran artista mexicano. El cual hoy, le hago homenaje con esta otra gran obra de Armando Manzanero llamada ¨Contigo aprendí¨ Espero disfruten de esta nueva interpretación.

^{I had no choice but to listen to this little man and I instantly loved his music. I think there was always that rematic side in me that I didn't want to accept. I spent many months listening to what I now consider a great artist, singer, composer and producer. Songs like: Esta tarde vi llover, Nada personal, Adoro, among others, were key songs to still remember this great Mexican artist. Which today, I pay tribute to him with this other great work of Armando Manzanero called ¨Contigo aprendí¨ I hope you enjoy this new interpretation.}

La música es lo que le da sentido a mi vida, mi pasión por ella, es vital como el agua para vivir. Sonidos que me cambian nuestro estado de ánimo en segundos... La música me envuelve, me hace volver a vivir momentos que se fueron y que no volverán, me hace soñar, en otras palabras, cualquier tipo de música me hace sentir muy bien y la disfruto. Estoy agradecido con todos los amigos que apoyan mi arte, mi música. A cada uno de ellos ¡GRACIAS!
