We are ready for this new trip to the past of video games and this time we will go to 1994 where the fever to have a Snes in your home was immensely big. In this trip to the past of video games we will talk about one of the most important Nintendo sagas. I'm talking about Punch-Out which was one of the most popular sports video games of the 90s and it all started with the great success of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! from its beginnings in arcade machines in 1982 and then in 1984 on the Nes. A video game that we should all know.
Like his previous title, in this Super Punch-Out we also require a good cadence and a lot of skill. Especially to detect the movements of our opponents and thus be able to win the belt of the four circuits where we must face different boxers and of course, as we go forward, everything will become more difficult. Of course it is vital that each new title in the saga has a level of difficulty that makes it entertaining and complex. In my opinion, if you want to get to the end, you will have to face your opponents many times to discover their moves and weaknesses. It won't be an easy task, but this is where the video game becomes interesting.
There is no doubt that the arcade essence of what Punch-Out is gave the franchise the success it deserved, so much so that it reached the Wii where there were not many modifications on the part of the videogame. Not in the fighters nor in the mechanics of the game. It seems to me something quite emotional on the part of Nintendo and Genyo Takeda for making sure that the classic spirit does not fade away.
In Super Punch-Out we must face 13 professional boxers that separate us from the glory and the coronation of being the greatest boxer in history. Of course as I have already mentioned, nothing will be easy but we will sweat bravely to the last drop to reach the world boxing title.
I don't know if it's the fever I have for these video games but remembering again this great classic video game was another great moment of nostalgia and joy. It is inevitable not to remember all those afternoons where I used to get irritated for falling on the canvas and not to mention the endless nights of fighting with my mother for bedtime.

This way of remembering and taking a walk to the past of video games gives me the option to enjoy again these classics and that gives an extra point of nostalgia when I manage to find titles like this one that I present today. I hope you enjoyed this short but nostalgic walk.
