La semana pasada recibí la grata visita del amigo @rikardonaranjo en casa de mi esposa, @mariolisrnaranjo, quien es además su prima. O sea que somos de la familia como quien dice, vino para cumplir un llamado personal. Ya que hace tiempo le comentaba sobre hacer algo juntos, con su acompañamiento en la guitarra. Esto fue postergándose en el tiempo, ya que es una persona bastante ocupada. La verdad no sé cómo hace para repartirse entre las tantas cosas que realiza al mismo tiempo.

Llegó, como de costumbre, con su guitarra en la espalda y fue mi esposa la que lo recibió en la puerta. Yo me encontraba en el cuarto con mi guitarra en mano, sacando algún que otro acorde de una canción para hacer un cover. Por lo que fue un rato después, cuando me sorprendió dicho personaje, con la noticia de que me traía una guitarra extra que él poseía. La guitarra que me cuenta la utiliza para sus estudiantes, y que por el momento se encontraba en su casa sin uso.

Por lo que decidió traérmela para prestármela por un tiempo, quizás tras leer sobre mi inoportuno percance con la sexta cuerda de la mía, la que ya no suena como antes. Mientras tuve en mi poder dicha guitarra, le exprimí todo el jugo que pude en varias grabaciones; sin embargo, duró muy poco la felicidad en casa del pobre, pues apareció un nuevo estudiante que necesitaba de ella.

Regresé a la mía un poco desanimado, ¿pero qué le vamos a hacer? Uno debe hacer leña con el palo que tiene, ¿no es verdad? Además, aún no terminó la historia. Me dijo antes de llevarse la guitarra Raulito, que todo le parecía estar bien con mis cuerdas. Cuando le mostraba cómo la sexta y la quinta sonaban igual en el afinador de la app Guitar Tuna. Hasta que la toma en sus manos, y detecta el verdadero problema, la quinta no sonaba como tenía que ser.

Por unos minutos me derrumbé, pensé que tendría que guindar los guantes hasta el 18 de abril, fecha en la que tiene programado el vuelo mi hermano que viene de vacaciones desde Venezuela. Y se preguntarán qué tiene que ver una cosa con la otra, pues nada que me puse patines a tiempo. Para que mi hermano, mediante la página de compraventa Mercado Libre, la cual habíamos utilizado en más de una ocasión, para hacerme de algún que otro implemento.

De los que ya les contaré cuando lleguen a mis manos, pudo finalmente localizar y comprarme un juego de cuerdas para la guitarra. En realidad, me compré dos: uno para ponerlas nada más que lleguen a mis manos, el otro quedará de repuesto. Pero tranquilos que este no es el final, resulta que buscando en mi bolsa con la que cubro la guitarra encontré mi salvación.

En un pequeño sobresito, donde tengo unas cuerdas de uso que me regaló años atrás el amigo @longevoatrevido. Había una quinta cuerda que milagrosamente la app Guitar Tuna la pudo detectar finalmente, el cambio fue total, di un brinco de alegría que parecía un muchacho. En esta oportunidad les traigo un cover que grabé precisamente con el amigo @rikardonaranjo, acompañado con su guitarra.

El tema se llama "De qué me sirve la vida", de la banda mexicana Camila, de la que saben que soy super fans de su música. He arrived, as usual, with his guitar on his back and it was my wife who greeted him at the door. I was in the room with my guitar in hand, pulling out a few chords of a song to cover. So it was a while later, when he surprised me with the news that he was bringing me an extra guitar that he owned. The guitar that he tells me he uses it for his students, and that for the moment it was in his house without use.

So he decided to bring it to me to lend it to me for a while, perhaps after reading about my untimely mishap with the sixth string of mine, which no longer sounds like it used to. While I had the guitar in my possession, I squeezed all the juice I could out of it in several recordings; however, the happiness in the poor man's house was short-lived, as a new student appeared who needed it.

I returned to mine a little discouraged, but what can you do? You have to make firewood with the stick you have, don't you? Besides, the story wasn't over yet. Before taking the guitar away, Raulito told me that everything seemed fine with my strings. When I showed him how the sixth and the fifth sounded the same in the tuner of the Guitar Tuna app. Until he takes it in his hands, and detects the real problem, the fifth did not sound as it should be.

For a few minutes I collapsed, I thought I would have to hang up my gloves until April 18, when my brother is scheduled to fly from Venezuela on vacation. And you may wonder what one thing has to do with the other, well, I got my skates on in time. So that my brother, through the buying and selling site Mercado Libre, which we had used on more than one occasion, to buy some other implement.
