El Real Madrid apenas uno de sus mejores partidos de la temporada ante el Elche, que actualmente es el equipo en la última posición de la liga española. Era importante para el Real Madrid ganar este partido para poder confirmar su liderato en la liga, y también para crear aún más presión al Barcelona, que es el equipo actualmente en la segunda posición.

Ancelotti hizo un par de rotaciones pero el equipo rindió mejor que nunca, incluso anotaron 3 goles inválidos por fuera de juego, y a pesar de eso, lograron ganar el partido 0-3. Valverde y Rodrygo están jugando su mejor fútbol, y otra buena noticia fue ver a Benzema mejorar su rendimiento. El equipo fue muy sólido en general, y si continúan así, deberían poder seguir ganando sus partidos de liga en las próximas semanas. Lo cual es algo necesario para que se mantengan en la primera posición.
