I want to share with you a drawing inspired by my precious husbando "Dabi". My favorite character since ancient times from the anime "My Hero Academy" and for whom I started to study more in depth digital art.

Quiero compartirles un dibujo inspirado en mi precioso husbando "Dabi". Mi personaje favorito desde tiempos remotos del anime "My Hero Academy" y por quién empecé a estudiar más a profundidad el arte digital.

Thanks to this character I was able to make a lot of FanArts and progress more and more, both in colorimetry and anatomy. I made thousands of drawings, both traditionally and digitally. No matter the resource I had, I always liked to draw it, even if it was in the back of my notebook in the middle of class or at 3 am when I had absolutely nothing to do with my life (obviously I had to have classes the next day).

Gracias a este personaje logré realizar muchísimos FanArts e ir progresando cada vez más y más, tanto en colorimetría como anatomía. Llegué a realizar miles de dibujos, tanto de forma tradicional como en forma digital. No importaba el recurso que tuviera, siempre me gustó dibujarlo, así fuera en la parte de atrás de mi cuaderno en medio de clases o a las 3 Am cuando no tenía absolutamente nada que hacer con mi vida (obviamente tenía que tener clases al día siguiente)

I am definitely grateful for the inspiration it gave me at the time, it was very very very nice to discover every technique, shape and style that I could develop. I still feel that I don't have a special or specific way of doing Dabi, in fact, every time I draw him, he never looks the same. There are seasons where I like to change the shape of the hair, the length of the face, the physique, the shape of the eyes, the patches and even some where I draw him more adult or more childish than he really is.

Definitivamente estoy agradecida por la inspiración que me brindó en su momento, fue muy muy muy lindo ir descubriendo cada técnica, forma y estilo que podía desarrollar. Aún siento que no tengo una manera especial o específica de hacer a Dabi, de hecho, cada vez que lo dibujo nunca me queda igual. Hay temporadas donde me gusta cambiarle la forma del cabello, el largo de la cara, el físico, la forma de los ojos, los parches e incluso algunas donde lo dibujo más adulto o más niño de lo que realmente es.

I can say that there was a good "before/after" Dabi regarding my way of drawing, seeing things and analyzing. He was my little push to create an instagram account where I would upload my first drawings to the public, I was really in love with drawing him.

Puedo afirmar que hubo un buen "antes/después" de Dabi con respecto a mi forma de dibujar, de ver las cosas y de analizar. Fue mi pequeño empujón para crear una cuenta de instagram donde subiría mis primeros dibujos al público, realmente estaba enamorada de dibujarlo.

I am one of those people who draw anything as a hooby, but drawing this character brought me satisfaction and inspiration, my imagination came up with many new ideas every day of a drawing different from the previous one, in difficult angles, with different themes and more and more creative things that I still have pending to do.

Soy de las personas que dibujan cualquier cosa como hooby, pero dibujar este personaje me traía satisfacción e inspiración, mi imaginación se hacía muchas nuevas ideas cada día de un dibujo distinto al anterior, en ángulos difíciles, con temáticas diferentes y cada vez más cosas creativas que tengo pendiente por hacer aún.

This was the last drawing I did of him, I'm not saying it's the last for life, but I admit that I put it aside to make way to create my own characters and illustrations, also to experiment with new tastes and techniques.

Este fue el último dibujo que hice de él, no digo que sea el último de por vida, pero si admito que lo dejé de lado abriendo paso para poder crear mis propios personajes e ilustraciones, también para ir experimentando nuevos gustos y técnicas.

It was complicated to decide what colors I wanted to put on this drawing, my first illusion was that it would be a sunset atmosphere, so I wanted to put colors like yellows, browns and oranges. But as I never follow my imagination I did the opposite, I applied cold colors with purple and grayish tones testing what kind of atmosphere could emerge from that combination of colors. Finally I played with the saturation and brightness and I came out with this work.

Fue complicado decidir qué colores quería ponerle a este dibujo, mi primera ilusión era que fuera un ambiente de atardecer, por lo que quería colocarle colores como amarillos, marrones y naranjas. Pero como nunca sigo a mi imaginación hice todo lo contrario, apliqué colores fríos con tonalidades moradas y grisáceas tanteando qué tipo de ambiente podría surgir de esa combinación de colores. Finalmente jugué con la saturación y el brillo saliéndome así dicha obra.
