¡Saludos queridos amigos de Hive! espero estén muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo mi participación a la semana número 80 del #Openmic con la temática es "Nuevo día", para ello decidí interpretar una pieza cristiana la cual es un himno bastante antiguo llamado "Cuan gloriosa será la mañana" en flauta dulce soprano, éste himno lo descubrí hasta hace poco por mi mamá que es cristiana y casualmente conseguí la partitura y decidí hacer ésta pequeña interpretación.

A futuro tengo pensado hacer un dueto de flautas dulces de ésta misma pieza en otra tonalidad ya que veo que tiene buen potencial de estudio y es una pieza muy hermosa y va muy acorde a la temática de ésta semana, espero les guste...

I hope you are very well, today I bring you my participation to week number 80 of #Openmic with the theme is "New day", for this I decided to interpret a Christian piece which is a fairly old hymn called "How glorious will be the Tomorrow "on the soprano recorder, this hymn was discovered until recently by my mother who is a Christian and by chance I got the score and decided to do this little interpretation.

In the future I plan to do a recorder duet of this same piece in a different key since I see that it has good study potential and it is a very beautiful piece and it goes very well with the theme of this week, I hope you like it ...

Desafortunadamente los hispanohablantes hemos sido muy descuidados con la historia de los himnos que han nacido de nuestra propia lengua. Esto ha ocurrido en parte porque muchas personas han compuesto himnos en nuestra región y se han dado a conocer de boca en boca como una especie de tradición oral, y en medio de esta cadena se termina perdiendo la información sobre los escritores y las circunstancias en las que nacieron estos himnos.

Sobre este himno en particular se sabe que fue escrito por los hermanos Felicia y mariano Beltrán aparentemente a mediados del siglo XX. La melodía fue compuesta por el misionero Robert C. Savage quien sirvió en varios países de américa latina. También trabajó en la estación radial HCJB como locutor, escritor, promotor y administrador. Robert tradujo varios himnos a nuestro idioma y creó la música y arreglo para muchos otros. También compiló varios cancioneros o himnarios. En los textos donde se le menciona se dice que era conocido por su espíritu alegre.

Unfortunately Spanish speakers have been very careless with the history of hymns that have been born from our own language. This has happened in part because many people have composed hymns in our region and have made themselves known by word of mouth as a kind of oral tradition, and in the middle of this chain information about the writers and the circumstances in which they end up being lost. these hymns were born.

Regarding this particular hymn, it is known that it was written by the brothers Felicia and Mariano Beltrán, apparently in the middle of the 20th century. The melody was composed by missionary Robert C. Savage who served in several Latin American countries. He also worked at the HCJB radio station as a broadcaster, writer, promoter, and administrator. Robert translated various hymns into our language and created the music and arrangement for many others. He also compiled several songbooks or hymnals. In the texts where he is mentioned, it is said that he was known for his cheerful spirit.
