Hello friends, how are you all, I hope you are fine, healthy and enjoying your day. Once again welcome all of you to my 3speak video. In today's video I will talk about World Malaria Day which is being celebrated every year on 25th April all over the world. As everyone knows malaria is a disease caused by mosquito bite which is quite dangerous. This time the theme of World Malaria Day is

“Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement”. The purpose behind celebrating this day is to make people aware about what is malaria disease and how to avoid it.

Because every year millions of people die due to malaria. In the 2017 report, about 4.34 lakh people had lost their lives due to malaria. The aim of WHO is to make the whole world malaria free. So far, Algeria and Argentina are the only two countries that have been made malaria free. Because no malaria-driven cases have been reported there. According to a report, India will be malaria free by 2030 and we hope that it happens soon.I faintly remember that when I was in ninth grade I had either malaria or dengue. I am not confirmed, but it was definitely one of these two. But due to timely treatment, I survived.
The bark of the cinchona tree is commonly used to treat malaria.
