¡Buenos días a todos! Es la primera vez que publico en esta comunidad y también este es mi primer gameplay en Hive.

Como no podía ser de otra manera, iba a ser un videojuego de terror, mi género favorito.

Pero no uno cualquiera con los típicos "screamers" que ya sabes dónde van a salir y no sorprenden a nadie; sino uno con una historia tan tétrica y oscura como atrapante.

Madison es un videojuego de terror que salió en 2022 y ya se ha dicho que es el mejor videojuego del pasado año. Aún me queda jugarlo completo para poder dar una opinión personal; pero en este gameplay jugué los primeros minutos y me sorprendió para bien.

Me recuerda bastante al cancelado Silent Hill P.T. que tanto revuelo causó cuando fue cancelado por Konami. Ese proyecto entre Kojima, Guillermo del Toro y Norman Reedus como protagonista, junto a esa demo que daba bastante canguelo, habría sido maravilloso.

Como fan de la saga de Silent Hill me sentí muy decepcionada y triste al enterarme de que el juego nunca iba a ver la luz; en su lugar, creo que pronto van a hacer un remake del Silent Hill 2(el cuál volveré a jugar gustosamente), y otros Silent Hill como el "F" pero, ya esos no son tan survival horror como los antiguos ni estaba el mismo team de guionistas y desarrolladores...

El comienzo, y la casa donde nos encontramos al inicio del juego me hizo recordar a la demo de Silent Hill P.T. a pesar de que tenga una historia diferente.

El juego comienza en lo que parece ser la casa de mis padres. Soy un jovencito que se despierta con dolor de cabeza (y parece que no es resaca) y escucho a mi padre al otro lado de la puerta llorando desconsolado, acusándome de haber arruinado a la familia, y preguntándome que cómo he sido capaz de hacerles "eso."

Luca está encerrado en esa habitación y decide abrirse paso a través de esos tablones, para llegar a casa de su abuelo, que al parecer está conectada o construida cerca de la casa de sus padres.

La casa del abuelo está llena de relojes, de detalles antiguos como gramolas, fotografías en blanco y negro, puertas que chirrían y ruidos de objetos que se caen o golpes, que mantienen la tensión todo el tiempo.

A medida que avanzamos en esta historia familiar, nos enteramos a través de las noticias de una televisión que se enciende, sobre una asesina en serie llamada Madison Hale, la cual asesinó a 4 personas desmembrándolas para realizar un ritual satánico, pero que fue interrumpida cuando la oficial Russell la atrapó y le disparó.

En las noticias dicen que todas las pertenencias de la asesina fueron subastadas a excepción de su cámara de fotos... y, ¿adivina qué?

Esa cámara de fotos instantánea acabó en manos de Luca, nuestro protagonista, por su 16 cumpleaños. Puede que esa cámara estuviese maldita... Puede que algo de aquella asesina en serie esté afectando a la familia Maxwell.

Good morning everyone! This is the first time I post in this community and also this is my first gameplay in Hive.

As it couldn't be otherwise, it was going to be a horror videogame, my favorite genre.

But not just any horror game with the typical "screamers" that you know where they are going to come out and don't surprise anyone; but one with a story as dark and dark as gripping.

Madison is a horror videogame that came out in 2022 and has already been called the best videogame of last year. I have yet to play it in its entirety to be able to give a personal opinion; but in this gameplay I played the first few minutes and was surprised for the better.

It reminds me a lot of the cancelled Silent Hill P.T. that caused so much commotion when it was cancelled by Konami. That project between Kojima, Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus as the main character, along with that demo that was quite scary, would have been wonderful.

As a fan of the Silent Hill saga I was very disappointed and sad to learn that the game was never going to see the light; instead, I think they will soon make a remake of Silent Hill 2 (which I will gladly play again), and other Silent Hill like "F" but, those are not as survival horror as the old ones and the same team of writers and developers were not there...

The beginning, and the house where we find ourselves at the start of the game reminded me of the Silent Hill P.T. demo even though it has a different story.

The game begins in what appears to be my parents' house. I'm a young boy waking up with a headache (and apparently not a hangover) and I hear my father on the other side of the door crying disconsolately, accusing me of ruining the family, and wondering how I was able to do "that" to them.

Luca is locked in that room and decides to make his way through those planks, to get to his grandfather's house, which is apparently connected to or built near his parents' house.

Grandpa's house is full of clocks, antique details such as jukeboxes, black and white photographs, creaking doors and noises of falling objects or banging, which keep the tension going all the time.

As we progress through this familiar story, we learn through the news on a television that comes on, about a serial killer named Madison Hale, who murdered 4 people by dismembering them to perform a satanic ritual, but was interrupted when Officer Russell caught her and shot her.

News reports say that all of the killer's belongings were auctioned off except for her camera... and guess what?

That instant camera ended up in the hands of Luca, our protagonist, for his 16th birthday. Maybe that camera was cursed? Maybe something of that serial killer is affecting the Maxwell family.

I recommend you put on some headphones / earphones / earbuds and turn up the volume 😉.
