There are tastes and smells of nature that bring back memories, nostalgia, of the past, of the family, and other times the taste of a tea, when we close our eyes, takes us to nature, to a walk through a meadow, a forest, the smell of pine, grass and even wild flowers in the middle of the thicket of the environment.

Even if we are at home, a good cup of tea can take us to a great mental journey and enjoy that natural environment where there is no time or space and one can move to that place with aromas and tastes.

Design process

The design is made with 5 images, a video and in 15 layers.

To build the background, first I put an image of a forest with rocks, in two layers, one normal and one with soft light fusion, enhancing the colour.

Then on top of the previous layers, I placed the image of the forest but with some mushrooms, in three layers with darker colour fusions, focal light and soft light.

To finish forming the background I used another forest image where the trees stand out and I arranged the image in three layers with lighten, focal light and strong light blends.

Then I used the image of the teacup, in 4 layers with darken, underexpose colour, and two strong light blends.

Placing them inside the cup I placed the chamomile flowers, erasing the excess and with a colour underexposure fusion.

Finally on the area of the plate, I placed two layers of the first image I used, erasing the rest, with colour underexposure and soft light fusions.

The animation is completely done in After Effects, working the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for a better contrast.

Hay sabores y olores de la naturaleza, que nos traen recuerdos, añoranzas, del pasado, de la familia, y otras veces el sabor de un té, cuando cerramos los ojos nos traslada a lo natural, a un caminar por un prado, por un bosque, el olor a pino, a hierba y hasta a flores silvestres en medio de la espesura del entorno.

Así estemos en nuestro hogar una buena taza de té nos puede llevar a un gran viaje mental y disfrutar de ese ambiente natural en donde no hay tiempo ni espacio y uno puede trasladarse a ese lugar con aromas y gustos.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con 5 imágenes, un video y en 15 capas.

Para armar el fondo, primero puse una imagen de un bosque con rocas, en dos capas, una normal y otra con fusión de luz suave, realzando el color.

Luego sobre las anteriores capas, coloqué la imagen del bosque, pero con algunos hongos, en tres capas con fusiones color más oscuro, luz focal y luz suave.

Para terminar de formar el fondo usé otra imagen de bosque donde resaltan los árboles y dispuse la imagen en tres capas con fusiones aclarar, luz focal y luz fuerte.

Luego utilicé la imagen de la taza de té, en 4 capas con fusiones oscurecer, subexponer color, y dos de luz fuerte.

Situándolas dentro de la taza coloqué las flores de manzanilla, borrando el excedente y con una fusión de subexponer color.

Finalmente, sobre la zona del plato, puse dos capas de la primera imagen que utilicé, borrando el resto, con fusiones de subexponer color y luz suave.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
