Hola, amigos de #geekzone. El día de hoy les comparto el gameplay de un juego llamado "The Unwanted Experiment". Este es la segunda entrega de la saga desarrollada por Dark Dome, centrada en los extraños acontecimientos que ocurren en el pueblo de "Hidden Town". Anteriormente, ya les había compartido la primera entrega y al ser de mi total agrado, decidí darle la oportunidad a la saga entera, así que acompáñenme a adentrarme en esta nueva aventura.

En el pueblo de "Hidden Town" siempre pasan cosas raras y desde que cierto científico se mudó a este, las cosas han empeorado bastante. Ahora no solamente se ven fantasmas en las casas, sino que en los alrededores de su laboratorio se han comenzado a ver animales extraños, que parecen más monstruos que otra cosa. Por suerte, un valiente joven se atreve a adentrarse en el laboratorio con la finalidad de investigar qué es lo que verdaderamente sucede en aquel lugar. Pero las cosas no serán tan sencillas como él piensa, ya que queda atrapado en aquel desagradable sitio, así que ahora deberá usar todo su ingenio para escapar antes de que regrese el científico "loco".

The Unwanted Experiment, es una aventura "point and click", en la que tomaremos el papel del joven que se encuentra encerrado en el laboratorio. Para lograr escapar deberemos resolver una serie de acertijos que nos irán conduciendo tanto a la salida, como a la horrible verdad que se esconde detrás de aquel sospechoso científico. La mecánica de este juego suena bastante simple, agarramos objetos y vamos resolviendo pistas, pero les aseguro que no lo es, muchas veces me vi perdida sin saber qué hacer.

Yo, que normalmente hablo mucho mientras grabo, esta vez estaba tan concentrada pensando en como resolver los puzzles y en lo que estaba pasando, que muchas veces me olvidé de decir una palabra. Los acertijos fueron mucho más desafiantes que en la entrega anterior. Eso me gustó, sin embargo, varias veces me sentí en el limbo y tuve que recorrer todas las habitaciones y rincones en repetidas ocasiones para buscar la iluminación que necesitaba para salir de mi atascamiento. Es por ello que este gameplay resultó un poco más largo que el anterior.

Algo que me gustó mucho es que integran una dinámica nueva que no existía en el juego anterior, esta consiste en contar con un compañero. Así es, jugamos con dos personajes, los cuales alternaremos para realizar diferentes actividades. A este segundo personaje lo encontramos encerrado en una celda y tras hablar con él, descubrimos que es el excompañero del científico loco, al cual encerró en esa celda porque descubrió todos los experimentos turbios que estaba efectuando. Él nos dice que nos puede ayudar a escapar de aquel lugar, ya que la huella de su mano sirve para abrir la puerta de salida. Ahora nuestro panorama se ve bastante claro y tendremos más alcance dentro del laboratorio, pero también muchas más cosas que hacer y acertijos por resolver.

Por supuesto que no todo es color de rosa, hubo algunas cosas no tuvieron demasiada lógica que digamos, como por ejemplo, unos animales de origami cobrando vida o una planta creciendo en un segundo. Pero bueno, tomando en cuenta que los experimentos del científico loco originaron monstruos rarísimos, tampoco es que pueda esperar una historia muy apegada a la realidad. También podría decir que la longitud es uno de sus puntos débiles, pero la verdad es que tomando en cuenta que pertenece a una saga de juegos móviles, ya no me parece que esté tan mal, al contrario, que sea rápido de terminar hace que me den más ganas de jugar las siguientes entregas.

La verdad es que debo aceptar que me gustó un poco más la primera entrega, debido a que es un poco más terrorífica, sin embargo, este segundo juego también tiene su encanto. Ese detalle de poder tener dos personajes jugables es genial, además de que tiene un final malo y uno bueno (en el video podrán ver ambos), lo cual lo hace mucho más increíble. In the laboratory of terror | Full gameplay

Hello, #geekzone friends. Today I'm sharing with you the gameplay of a game called "The Unwanted Experiment". This is the second installment of the saga developed by Dark Dome, focused on the strange events that occur in the town of "Hidden Town". Previously, I had already shared with you the first installment and since I liked it so much, I decided to give a chance to the whole saga, so join me to get into this new adventure.

Strange things are always happening in Hidden Town, and since a certain scientist moved in, things have gotten a lot worse. Now, not only are there ghosts in the houses, but also strange animals have started to appear around his laboratory, which look more like monsters than anything else. Luckily, a brave young man dares to enter the laboratory in order to investigate what is really going on there. But things won't be as easy as he thinks, as he gets trapped in that nasty place, so now he must use all his wits to escape before the "mad" scientist returns.

The Unwanted Experiment is a point and click adventure in which we take the role of a young man who is locked in a laboratory. In order to escape we must solve a series of puzzles that will lead us both to the exit and to the horrible truth that lies behind the suspicious scientist. The mechanics of this game sounds quite simple, we grab objects and solve clues, but I assure you that it is not, many times I found myself lost without knowing what to do.

I, who normally talk a lot while recording, this time I was so focused on how to solve the puzzles and what was going on, that many times I forgot to say a word. The puzzles were much more challenging than in the previous installment. I liked that, however, several times I felt like I was in limbo and had to run through all the rooms and corners repeatedly to find the illumination I needed to get out of my jam. That's why this gameplay was a bit longer than the previous one.

Something that I really liked is that they integrate a new dynamic that did not exist in the previous game, this consists of having a companion. That's right, we play with two characters, which we alternate to perform different activities. We find this second character locked in a cell and after talking to him, we discover that he is the ex-companion of the mad scientist, who was locked in that cell because he discovered all the shady experiments he was doing. He tells us that he can help us escape from that place, as his handprint is used to open the exit door. Now our outlook is quite clear and we will have more scope inside the lab, but also many more things to do and puzzles to solve.

Of course, not everything is rosy, there were some things that didn't make much sense, for example, origami animals coming to life or a plant growing in a second. But then again, considering that the mad scientist's experiments gave rise to freakish monsters, I can't expect a story that is too close to reality either. I could also say that the length is one of its weak points, but the truth is that taking into account that it belongs to a mobile game saga, I don't think it's so bad, on the contrary, the fact that it's quick to finish makes me want to play the next installments even more.

The truth is that I must accept that I liked the first game a bit more, because it is a bit more terrifying, however, this second game also has its charm. That detail of being able to have two playable characters is great, plus it has a bad ending and a good one (in the video you can see both), which makes it much more incredible.
