Hola, amigos de #geekzone, hoy les comparto una nueva incursión en el mundo de "Don't Starve", aunque a decir verdad, desde que comencé a jugarlo hace una semana no he parado. Sí, se me ha formado un nuevo vicio. Yo pensé que como ya me había curado del Stardew Valley podría estar tranquila un tiempo, pero la verdad es que vino el "Don't Starve" a hacerle relevo, jajajaja.

Para los que se perdieron el gameplay anterior, "Don't Starve" es un juego de supervivencia en el que tomamos el papel de Winston, un científico que se encuentra perdido en un lugar de grandes peligros y misterios en el cual tendremos como misión principal, sobrevivir. Al principio llegué a tener la idea errónea de que sería algo sencillo, pero después de unas varias muertes pude darme cuenta de que cualquier cosa nos puede matar, así que me puse seria y logré conseguir una racha de siete días de supervivencia.

Lamentablemente, no me supe quedar tranquila y me puse a investigar cosas para las que aún no estaba preparada, así que por supuesto esa racha desapareció y tuve que comenzar de nuevo, lo cual puede parecer un fastidio, pero en realidad nos da la oportunidad de probar cosas diferentes. Una de las cosas que decidí hacer después de unas cuantas muertes fue investigar cuan grande era el mapa, esto lo hice bordeándolo todo y aunque estuve a punto de morir más de una vez, después de 10 días finalmente pude terminar de “delinearlo” y solo puedo decir que es enorme.

Durante todo ese recorrido me encontré con una buena cantidad de monstruos y de sitios extraños que casi hacen que me maten, por suerte logré escapar a tiempo. Otra de las cosas que descubrí durante esos 10 días de caminata fue que el mapa está conformado por zonas con diferente vegetación, mis favoritas fueron el bosque y los pastizales, ya que según yo, es donde se pueden obtener más recursos sin correr tanto peligro. Ahora solo queda escoger el lugar en donde voy a comenzar a establecerme, porque sí, se puede plantar, cosechar y construir, así que me espera mucho trabajo por delante, solo espero no morir en el intento.

Esta versión que estoy jugando se llama "Don't Starve: Pocket Edition" y es la versión para smartphones del juego original. Este cuenta con una puntuación de 4.5 estrellas en la Play Store y aunque normalmente cuesta 5 USD, actualmente se encuentra en descuento y pueden adquirirlo por 1 USD. También se encuentra disponible en la App Store, sin embargo, ahí tiene un costo de 1.99 USD. Les dejo el enlace para ambas tiendas:

Hello #geekzone friends, today I'm sharing with you a new foray into the world of "Don't Starve", although to tell you the truth, since I started playing it a week ago I haven't stopped. Yes, I have formed a new vice. I thought that since I had already cured myself of Stardew Valley I could be quiet for a while, but the truth is that "Don't Starve" came to take over, hahahaha.

For those who missed the previous gameplay, "Don't Starve " is a survival game in which we take the role of Winston, a scientist who finds himself lost in a place of great dangers and mysteries in which our main mission is to survive. At first, I had the mistaken idea that it would be easy, but after a few deaths I realised that anything can kill us, so I got serious and managed to achieve a seven-day survival streak.

Unfortunately, I didn't know how to stay calm, and I started investigating things that I wasn't ready for yet, so of course that streak disappeared, and I had to start all over again, which may seem like a bummer, but it actually gives us a chance to try different things. One of the things I decided to do after a few deaths was to investigate how big the map was, I did this by skirting everything, and although I almost died more than once, after 10 days I was finally able to finish "outlining" it and I can only say that it is huge.

During all this journey I encountered a lot of monsters and strange places that almost got me killed, luckily I managed to escape in time. Another thing I discovered during those 10 days of walking was that the map is made up of areas with different vegetation, my favourites were the forest and the grasslands, because according to me, that's where you can get more resources without being in so much danger. Now all that's left is to choose where I'm going to start settling down, because yes, you can plant, harvest and build, so I have a lot of work ahead of me, I just hope I don't die trying.

This version I'm playing is called "Don't Starve: Pocket Edition " and it's the smartphone version of the original game.
