Blessed Rain / Bendita Lluvia

This year has been a rather atypical season, I believe that the effects of global warming and the various meteorological phenomena it entails are becoming increasingly evident in this region of the country, since it is evident that there is a strong distortion in weather patterns, in the months where rain normally abounded now looms an intense drought, and when it seems that the sun is in full swing storms burst unexpectedly sweeping away everything in its path.

Este año ha sido una temporada bastante atípica, creo que los efectos del calentamiento global y los diversos fenómenos meteorológicos que él conlleva se están haciendo cada vez más evidentes sobre esta región del país, puesto que es evidente que existe una fuerte distorsión en los patrones climáticos, en los meses donde normalmente abundaba la lluvia ahora se cierne una intensa sequía, y cuando parece que el sol está en su pleno apogeo las tormentas irrumpen de forma imprevista arrasando con todo su paso.

Undoubtedly this is part of a new reality that we are living and that tests our capabilities, adaptation and our lifestyle, since it is now much more difficult to predict weather behavior and, therefore, this is a factor that directly interferes in our daily lives, generating complications and expenses that years ago were very unlikely.

Sin duda alguna esto es parte de una nueva realidad que nos está tocando vivir y que coloca prueba nuestras capacidades, la adaptación y nuestro estilo de vida, ya que ahora es mucho más difícil predecir comportamiento climático y, por lo tanto, eso es un factor que interfiere directamente en nuestra vida cotidiana, generando complicaciones y gastos que años atrás eran muy poco probables.

It is in this way that today began with a radiant and strong sun, the thermometers were quoted above 30 degrees Celsius and the clouds did not seem to be present throughout the firmament, but in a matter of minutes the sun would disappear, its brightness would become darkness and a dense fog began to cover all the mountains, But this was accompanied by an intense downpour, which would break weeks of drought and unload on the streets of my city a rain that would last for hours, taking us all by surprise and leaving us once again admired by the incredible changes presented by this Andean nature that surrounds us.

Es de esta forma como el día de hoy comenzó con un sol radiante y fuerte, los termómetros se cotizaban por encima de los 30 grados centígrados y las nubes no parecían estar presentes en todo el firmamento, pero en cuestión de minutos el sol desaparecería, su brillo se volvería oscuridad y una densa neblina comenzaba a tapar todas las montañas, pero este vino acompañado de un intenso aguacero, cuál rompería con semanas de sequía y descargaría sobre las calles de mi ciudad una lluvia que duraría por horas, tomándonos a todos por sorpresa y dejándonos una vez más admirados por los Increíbles cambios que presenta esta naturaleza andina que nos rodea.
