Bolivarian Park / Parque Bolivariano

The city of La Fría in the Venezuelan state of Táchira is characterized by being an originally jungle area, where large trees coexisted perfectly with many rivers that crossed the territory in all directions, therefore the presence of many stones was something very common, more than 100 years ago these lands were mostly farms owned by large landowners and only a few small scattered towns made up the urban fabric.

La ciudad de La Fría en el venezolano estado Táchira se caracteriza por ser una zona originalmente selvática, en donde los grandes arboles convivían de forma perfecta con muchos ríos que cruzaban el territorio en todos los sentidos, por lo tanto la presencia de muchas piedras era algo muy común, hace mas de 100 años estas tierras en su mayoría eran fincas propiedades de grandes terratenientes y solo algunos pequeños poblados dispersos conformaban el tejido urbano.

Over the years, with the arrival of the old railway, roads, highways and airports little by little La Fría grew, filling with more people, buildings and commercial life, which resulted in nature gradually receding. and that jungle or wooded past faded over time and would be marginalized to the mountains or peripheral areas, but despite this the city still has trees and spaces that collect the memories of history inside.

Al pasar de los años, con la llegada del antiguo ferrocarril, las carreteras, autopistas y aeropuertos poco a poco La Fría fue creciendo, llenándose de más personas, construcciones y vida comercial, lo cual trajo como consecuencia que la naturaleza poco a poco fuera retrocediendo y aquel pasado selvático o boscoso se fue difuminando en el tiempo y quedaría marginado a las montañas o áreas periféricas, pero a pesar de esto la ciudad sigue contando con arboles y espacios que recogen en su interior las memorias de la historia.

The old Parque De Los Monos, today called Parque Bolivariano, is a great space that hides that natural past of the city, it is an incredible area since its greenness stands out above all things, its trees are imposing, centennial and abundant, it is about a true forest within urbanity, a place where you can breathe fresh air, tranquility and a lot of peace. This park just a few years ago was an abandoned and inhospitable place, covered by weeds oblivious to the needs of the town, but thanks to a great idea this space would change completely, it was intervened in a positive way by adding paths, lights, benches and service areas, making it the largest and most important recreation area in La Fría.

EL antiguo Parque De Los Monos, hoy llamado Parque Bolivariano es un gran espacio que esconde ese pasado natural de la ciudad, es un área increíble ya que su verdor resalta sobre todas las cosas, sus árboles son imponentes, centenarios y abundantes, se trata de un verdadero bosque dentro de la urbanidad, un lugar en donde se respira aire puro, tranquilidad y mucha paz. Este parque hace tan solo unos pocos años era un sitio abandonado he inhóspito, tapado por la maleza ajeno a las necesidades del pueblo, pero gracias a una gran idea este espacio cambiaria por completo, fue intervenido de forma positiva agregándole caminerías, luminarias, bancas y áreas de servicio, convirtiéndolo así en la zona de esparcimiento más grande he importante de la Fría.

Visiting it was a unique and incredible experience, in some places the trees are usually so tall and leafy that the sunlight reaches the ground in a dim way, meanwhile the rocks are scattered throughout the place and remind us that at some point in history some river meandered through these spaces, here it is incredible to feel how the typical heat of this city is not present, but on the contrary the climate inside the spaces of the park is pleasant and even very cool.

Visitarlo fue una experiencia única he increíble, en algunos sitios los árboles suelen ser tan altos y frondosos que la luz del sol llega al suelo de forma tenue, mientras tanto las rocas se encuentras dispersas por todo el lugar y nos recuerdan que en algún momento de la historia algún rio serpenteo por estos espacios, aquí es increíble sentir como el calor típico de esta ciudad no se hace presente, sino al contrario el clima dentro de los espacios del parque es agradable he incluso muy fresco.

The paths are designed to surround the park around its entire perimeter, with some crossings that are super interesting, they also have a small bridge and in general they are made quite wide, which allows comfortable circulation, they also work perfectly as a circuit of jog or walk, on this occasion I went through them twice and I was able to verify that during the entire route you can enjoy panoramic views of the park that are truly amazing.

Las caminerías están diseñadas para rodear el parque por todo su perímetro, con alguno cruces que resultan súper interesantes, además cuentan con un pequeño puente y en general están elaboradas de forma bastante amplia, lo cual permite una cómoda circulación, también funcionan perfectamente como circuito de trote o caminata, en esta ocasión las recorrí en dos oportunidades y pude constatar que durante todo el recorrido se puede disfrutar de vistas panorámicas del parque que son realmente asombrosas.

All walkways have comfortable benches that provide the opportunity to sit down and rest, read a good book, listen to music or simply think about many things. Inside the park we can also find tables and benches that can be used as ideal spaces for celebrations. picnic or simply sit down to eat, there is also a small house made of cement and geometric features which serves as an area dedicated to public services.

Todas las caminerías cuentan con cómodas bancas que brindan la oportunidad de sentarse y descansar, leer un buen libro, escuchar música o simplemente pensar en muchas cosas, al interior del parque también podemos encontrar mesas y bancas que pueden ser usadas como espacios ideales para celebraciones, picnic o sencillamente sentarse a comer, también se cuenta con una pequeña casa elaborada en cemento y de facciones geométricas la cual sirve como área dedicada a los servicios públicos.

The Bolivarian Park is an ideal place to meet and enjoy with the family, this time my visit here was alone, but even so I enjoyed it to the fullest as it allowed me to regain energy, enjoy a moment for myself, take many photographs, breathe fresh air and get away from the agitation of everyday life. This is a place you must know!

El Parque Bolivariano es un lugar ideal para conocer y disfrutar en familia, en esta oportunidad mi visita aquí fue en solitario, pero aun así la disfrute al máximo ya que me permitió recobrar energías, disfrutar de un momento para mi mismo, tomar muchas fotografías, respirar aire puro y alejarme del agite propio del día a día.
