Bienvenidos a mi blog musical, hoy interpreto con la trompeta «Tuyo», un bolero compuesto por Rodrigo Amarante. Este tema fue escrito para la Serie de Netflix Narcos y fue inspirado al pensar en la clase de música que escucharía la Madre de Pablo Escobar cuando este era un niño. No he tenido la oportunidad de ver esta serie, sin embargo, conozco por medio de documentales y otras series los acontecimientos históricos que giran en torno a ella. La canción tiene una tonalidad en Mi menor y tiene un aspecto nostálgico. La letra es muy apasionada y romántica, sin embargo, algunas palabras crean una tensión increíble y describen la personalidad de este famoso bandido. El sonido de la Guitarra, y de los violines de fondo me parecen increíbles.

Welcome to my musical blog, today I play with the trumpet «Yours», a bolero composed by Rodrigo Amarante. This theme was written for the Netflix series Narcos and was inspired by thinking about the kind of music Pablo Escobar's mother would listen to when he was a child. I have not had the opportunity to see this series, however, I know through documentaries and other series the historical events that revolve around it. The song is in the key of E minor and has a nostalgic feel to it. The lyrics are very passionate and romantic, however some words create incredible tension and describe the personality of this famous bandit. The sound of the guitar and the violins in the background seem incredible to me.

Entre los atributos del músico está la tenacidad y el temple. Cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles, hay un impulso que te motiva a seguir adelante, y que te anima a no abandonar. Se requiere firmeza y resistencia para lograr que una lección sea aprendida, o una obra sea ejecutada de manera virtuosa. Admiro el trabajo de muchos músicos, su virtuosismo se debe a la tenacidad. Seguramente han escuchado, esa persona tiene un temple de acero. Me encanta el programa que pasan por History Channel que se llama “Desafío Sobre Fuego”. Es un concurso de herrería. En este programa les toca forjar cuchillos, y espadas con aleaciones de acero y hierro. Ellos introducen estas piezas en un horno para fundido y en una temperatura exacta, ellos la retiran para moldearlas con un martillo. Ese proceso de fortalecimiento y endurecimiento se conoce como temple. Aquellos que tocan instrumentos musicales muchas veces se les forma una callosidad en las manos e incluso en otras partes del cuerpo. Ellos pasan por un proceso de endurecimiento para alcanzar su mayor potencial. A todos los músicos, mi reconocimiento por las cosas que logran con estudio y dedicación.

Among the attributes of the musician is tenacity and mettle. When the going gets tough, there's a drive that keeps you going, and encourages you not to give up. Firmness and resistance are required to ensure that a lesson is learned, or a work is executed virtuously. I admire the work of many musicians, their virtuosity is due to their tenacity. Surely you have heard, that person has a temper of steel. I love the show on the History Channel called "Forged in Fire". It's a blacksmithing contest. In this program they have to forge knives and swords with steel and iron alloys. They put these pieces in a furnace to melt and at an exact temperature, they remove it to mold them with a hammer. That process of strengthening and hardening is known as tempering. Those who play musical instruments often develop calluses on their hands and even on other parts of the body. They go through a hardening process to reach their highest potential. To all the musicians, my appreciation for the things they achieve with study and dedication.
