Welcome to my Music Blog, today I want to share my interpretation with the trumpet of "In My Life" by The Beatles. This Baroque Pop genre song was composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. This subgenre results from the combination of traditional Pop from the 60s and classical music. The piece of music is in the key of A major, and uses a chord progression that produces a sense of calm, reflection, and nostalgia. The first verse ends on an imperfect authentic cadence, but at the bridge of the song it ends with a plagal or deceitful cadence, which occurs when the dominant chord (V) resolves to a chord other than the tonic chord (I). The song's melody is also memorable. It is based on a descending scale, giving it a sense of nostalgia and melancholy. The lyrics deal with Lennon's memories of childhood and early adulthood of him. Talk about the people and places that have been important to him, and reflect on how these experiences have shaped his life. The song is a meditation on the nature of memory and the importance of the past. One of the most distinctive features of the song is the use of the harpsichord.
Bienvenidos a mi Blog Musical, hoy quiero compartirles mi interpretación con la trompeta de «In My Life» de The Beatles.
I was recently reading about the submersible or submarine that was making a trip to the crash site of the legendary ocean liner The Titanic. I've seen different reviews about it, which I find quite interesting. What I want to highlight and I want to clarify that I am not in favor of it, is that this accident occurred because they were tied to the past. It seems that justification is the enemy of truth. Studying the past helps us to understand the present, and to move towards the future. Many of the great inventions that exist today we owe to our ancestors. History speaks of who we are. We may look back and see an endless abyss, or a legacy of indescribable wealth. Whatever the options, we take the good and the learned and move forward. Now, those who deny their past have not learned the true lesson. Let's think for a moment about conflicts like World War 1 and World War 2. Has humanity learned anything from the past? It is sad, but a saying goes that those who "Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it."
There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
In my life, I love you more
