Feliz navidad para todos los que hacen vida en esta hermosa comunidad musical, la paz de Dios sea sobre sus vidas y la de los suyos, bienvenidos a mi blog musical!

Hace días vi la publicación del talent soundmuisc, y, desde el principio me entusiasmé con la idea de participar, porque me encanta la musica de esta época, los aguinaldos y gaitas, desde que tengo uso de razón, siempre he estado en la iglesia cantandolos, al compás del cuatro, tambor, teclado y charrasca; son muchos los recuerdos que viene a mi mente cuando escucho na de esas gaitas viejas, viejas, viejas, pero buenas, buenas, buenas!

Desde ace unos años, he tenido la dicha de cantar junto a mis hijos, quienes ejecutan los instrumentos, he podido notar en estaos últimos años que se ha ido perdiendo la costumbre de escuchar gaitas en navidad, son muy pocas las emisoras donde se les puede escuchar, y en las casa muy, muy poco, es triste porque las gaitas forman parte esencial de la navidad, junto con las hallacas, el carato de maíz y el pan de jamón.

A few days ago I saw the publication of the talent soundmuisc, and, from the beginning I was excited with the idea of participating, because I love the music of this time, the aguinaldos and gaitas, since I can remember, I have always been in church singing them, to the beat of the cuatro, drum, keyboard and charrasca; there are many memories that come to my mind when I listen to one of those old, old, old, old, but good, good, good, good!

Since a few years ago, I have had the joy of singing along with my children, who play the instruments, I have noticed in recent years that has been losing the habit of listening to gaitas at Christmas, there are very few stations where you can hear them, and at home very, very little, it is sad because the bagpipes are an essential part of Christmas, along with the hallacas, the carato de maiz and the pan de jamon (ham bread).

Para mi entrada, la cual hare en la categoría: Voz, les traigo un golpe de aguinaldo titulado: "Su nombre Emanuel", haciendo referencia a lo que le dijo el Ángel Gabriel a María cuando le dio el anuncio del Mesías prometido.

Emanuel significa Dios con nosotros, en referencia a la personificación de Dios en Jesucristo, que estaba profetizado nacería de una virgen.

La letra narra la historia tal como aparece en la Biblia, el Ángel Gabriel fue enviado por Dios a la ciudad de Nazaret a una virgen desposada con un varón de la casa de David, y el nombre de la virgen era Maria; quien halló gracia a los ojos de Dios y, fue escogida para esta hermosa misión de llevar al salvador del mundo en su vientre.

El Ángel le dio el nombre del niño, que es Jesus, porque salvara a su pueblo de sus pecados, y Emanuel, que traducido es Dios con nosotros!

For my entry, which I will do in the category: Voice, I bring you a Christmas carol entitled: "His name Immanuel", referring to what the Angel Gabriel said to Mary when he gave her the announcement of the promised Messiah.

Immanuel means God with us, in reference to the personification of God in Jesus Christ, who was prophesied to be born of a virgin.

The letter tells the story as it appears in the Bible, the Angel Gabriel was sent by God to the city of Nazareth to a virgin betrothed to a man of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary; who found favor in the eyes of God and was chosen for this beautiful mission to carry the savior of the world in her womb.
