    About :

Hello diy community. Once again I bring to you a beautiful diy made with very basic and readily available items.

With Valentine's day fast approaching and the present state of economy being low, people would need to improvise on the gifts they wish to share with their loved ones. Here's an idea for a really nice gift for a loved one.

I like to call this the "candies of goodwill messages". This project right here is very easy to do and if done right, it's a very beautiful gift. I would like to give this one to @jhymie as a goodwill gift.

To make this candy, you would need:

    • cardboard
    • scissors
    • gum
    • transparent nylon
    • pencil
    • ruler
    • coloured pen/ marker.
    • patience(special tool)

    Procedure

First, you get a large portion of cardboard for your candy packet (depending on how big you want it to be). Draw two horizontal lines at the top and at the bottom of the cardboard as your design .

Next, cut out a space in the centre , then apply your gum and your transparent nylon follows suit. Your front end is ready. For the back, you apply gum to the middle and the bottom. This is to ensure that you have an opening at the top to put in your candies.

Second, to the cutting of our candies and writing our goodwill messages. I cut 5 cm by 4cm of cardby for the candies. After cutting, you apply your gum to the button and the end, write your message and seal the candy up. I added tiny heart shapes at the centre of the candies. To give the candy a finishing touch, you trim the ends .

With this, your goodwill candies are almost ready. The last part involves you putting your candies in the packet and sealing it up with a gum.

Whosoever you give this to would have to tear the candy packet by the side to be able to access the messages. If I was given this kind of craft, I would be so happy. I bet @jhymie would like it too.

There are many different crafts you could make for a loved one, depending on your budget. You can choose to make this season different by making something special for your loved ones.

    With love, wongi ✨
