Hive music festival Week 49 Round 1 / Cover "No se olvida"

Les saludo a cada uno de los pasan por aquí, agradezco el tiempo que dedican a leerme y escucharme, bienvenidos a este espacio donde comparto mi pasión por la música y algunas anécdotas y vivencias de mi vida diaria, me gusta viajar en el tiempo y disfrutar de aquellas canciones que marcaron nuestras vida de una manera u otra.

Agradezco al equipo de Music Zone por este espacio que nos ha ayudado a desarrollarnos como artista y que motiva a cada participante a explorar sus habilidades y buscar mejorar semana tras semana.

I greet each of you who pass through here, I appreciate the time you spend reading and listening to me, welcome to this space where I share my passion for music and some anecdotes and experiences of my daily life, I like to travel in time and enjoy those songs that marked our lives in one way or another.

I thank the Music Zone team for this space that has helped us to develop as artists and that motivates each participant to explore their skills and seek to improve week after week.

Esta semana logré organizarme mejor y subir mi presentación con suficiente tiempo ya que las últimas semanas terminaba subiendo mi participación el última día y eso me generaba un poco de estrés. La canción que escogí para esta ronda es una que cada vez que me topaba con ella en la radio o algún vídeo en internet lograba sentirme conectada con ella por lo intenso de su coro, su letra me parece interesante y si lo pensamos bien quizás muchos de nosotros hemos vivido en alguna etapa de nuestro camino en la vida, me refiero a ese momento donde queremos seguir nuestro camino pero aún queda la huella o el rastro de un amor fallido que ha Sido difícil superar y que por más esfuerzo que hagamos no podemos.

This week I managed to organize myself better and upload my presentation with enough time because the last few weeks I ended up uploading my participation on the last day and that generated a little stress. The song I chose for this round is one that every time I came across it on the radio or a video on the internet I managed to feel connected to it by the intensity of its chorus, its lyrics seem interesting and if we think about it maybe many of us have lived at some stage of our path in life, I mean that moment where we want to continue our way but there is still the trace of a failed love that has been difficult to overcome and that no matter how hard we do we can not.

Yo pienso que una de las mejores medicinas para superar una situación así es perdonar, primero a la persona y segundo a uno mismo y cuando el corazón logra estar en paz con lo sucedido ya no duele tanto, cada quien tiene un tiempo, algunos tardan más y otros menos, pero lo cierto es que es necesario desprendernos del pasado para fijar nuestra atención en las bendiciones del presente.

Puedo decir que no fué fácil interpretar este tema, primero porque tuve que aprender varias partes que no me sabía, segundo por esa combinación de voz e instrumento que a veces es complicado llevar a cabo para mi y que tenga un resultado que a mí me guste, que tenga armonía y que no me pierda en el tiempo.

I think that one of the best medicines to overcome a situation like this is to forgive, first to the person and second to oneself and when the heart manages to be at peace with what happened, it does not hurt so much, everyone has a time, some take longer and others less, but the truth is that it is necessary to let go of the past to fix our attention on the blessings of the present.

I can say that it was not easy to interpret this theme, first because I had to learn several parts that I did not know, second because of that combination of voice and instrument that sometimes is complicated for me to perform and have a result that I like, that has harmony and that I do not get lost in time.
