Hive Open Mic Week #186 || Davido - Assurance || Cover by Wealthwess [ENG/ESP]

Hello music lovers! I’m really excited to be here again today on Hive Open Mic week 186, although my body isn’t feeling too great and i kind of look a bit dull in the video but music has been part of my life so I’m glad i could still compete this week. Moving on, this week’s theme is Cinema has chosen by @Mairene1 our community recent spotlight artist. Therefore, based on the theme I will be making a cover of a song by Davido titled Assurance.

Davido is a Nigerian Megastar Musician known almost around the world and he released Assurance on April 30th 2018 but the song will later be used in Coming 2 America a Eddie Murphy’s film released in 2021, by the way the prequel was aired in 1988. In this movie Davido made a cameo, crooning along to his Assurance track at a wedding scene and haven’t said that, Assurance is a true love song which was a befitting for the wedding scene. Without further ado, this is my reasons for chosen this song for this week’s theme and I hope you’ll enjoy my presentation.

Estoy muy emocionado de estar aquí nuevamente hoy en la semana 186 de Hive Open Mic, aunque mi cuerpo no se siente muy bien y parezco un poco aburrido en el video, pero la música ha sido parte de mi vida así que estoy Me alegro de poder competir esta semana. Continuando, el tema de esta semana es Cine elegido por @Mairene1, nuestra reciente artista destacada de la comunidad. Por eso, basado en el tema estaré haciendo un cover de una canción de Davido titulada Assurance.

Davido es un músico megaestrella nigeriano conocido en casi todo el mundo y lanzó Assurance el 30 de abril de 2018, pero la canción luego se usará en Coming 2 America, una película de Eddie Murphy estrenada en 2021, por cierto, la precuela se emitió en 1988. En esta película Davido hizo un cameo, canturreando su tema Assurance en una escena de boda y no he dicho eso, Assurance es una canción de amor verdadero que era apropiada para la escena de la boda.
