HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #166 || FIGHT SONG by RACHEL PLATTEN || COVER BY WEALTHWESS [ESP/ESP]

Hello everyone, welcome to the Hive open mic week 166, the theme of the week is Never give up, Which i think it's an interesting theme. Therefore, I will be performing a cover of a song titled "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten. I chose this song because it has a story about not giving up and it fits perfectly with the theme of the week.

There are times in everyone's life when they experience a rough patch. Whenever we face obstacles that prevent us from enjoying a comfortable life, we feel defeated, depressed, and hopeless. It is not always easy to achieve what we want, especially when we see betrayals. Whatever the case, we must not give up because the key to success is to stay strong and never give up.

I have had my own fair share of this, I can remember during the 2020 covid-19 pandemic where i and my other colleagues were laid off by the company we work for on March 19, 2020 we received an email of indefinite suspension for our contracts. At first we all agreed on why this measure was taken, but we never knew that it would be so difficult to stay at home for almost 4 months doing nothing. It was such dark times for me with so many different negative thoughts all because i can't make money and seeing some of my friends still working, earning? makes it so hard for me. But today i can only be grateful for choosing life and staying strong.

During my dark times, I remember listening to Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" as a means of staying sane & strong. About her song, I found out about it in 2016 when a young lady named Calysta Bevier performed it on AGT (America's Got Talent). She told her story of how she survived stage 3 ovarian cancer. It was quite emotional, I'm glad she got a Golden Buzzer at the end of her performance.

So, let's get into my performance, althoug i didn't use any intrumental, it was vocal all through, I hope you enjoy it.

Hola a todos, bienvenidos a la semana 166 de micrófono abierto de Hive, el tema de la semana es Nunca te rindas, creo que es un tema interesante. Por lo tanto, interpretaré una versión de una canción titulada "Fight Song" de Rachel Platten. Elegí esta canción porque tiene una historia que habla de no rendirse y encaja perfectamente con el tema de la semana.

Hay momentos en la vida de todos cuando experimentan un mal momento. Cada vez que enfrentamos obstáculos que nos impiden disfrutar de una vida cómoda, nos sentimos derrotadas, deprimidos y sin esperanza. no siempre es fácil lograr lo que queremos, sobre todo cuando vemos traiciones. Cualquiera que sea el caso, no debemos darnos por vencidos porque la clave del éxito es mantenerse fuerte y nunca darse por vencido.

He tenido mi propia parte justa de esto, puedo recordar durante la pandemia de covid-19 de 2020, donde mis otros colegas y yo fuimos despedidos por la empresa para la que trabajámos el 19 de marzo de 2020 recibimos un correo de suspensión indefinida de nuestro contratos Al principio todos estábamos de acuerdo en por qué se tomó esta medida, pero nunca pensamos que sería tan difícil quedarse en casa durante casi 4 meses sin hacer nada. Fueron tiempos tan oscuros para mí con tatos pensamientos negativos diferentes, todo porque no puedo ganar dinero y ver a algunos de mis amigos todavía trabajando, ¿ganando? hace que sea tan difícil para mi. pero hoy solo puendo estar agradecido por elegir la vida y mantenerme fuerte.

Durante mis tiempos oscuros, recuerdo haber escuchado "Fight Song" de Rachel Platten como un medio para mantenerme sane & strong. Acerca de la cancíon, me enteré de ella en 2016 cuando una mujer llamada Calysta Bevier la interpretó en AGT(America's Got Talent). Ella contó su historia de cómo sobrevivió a un cáncer de ovario en etapa 3. Fue bastante emotivo, me alegro de que le dieran un Golden Buzzer. actuación.

Así que ahora vayamos a mi presentación, aunque no usé ningún ritmo de fondo, es vocal todo el tiempo, espero que lo disfruten.
