Hoy domingo me levanté y me puse a tocar la guitarra un poco. Al rato note que que las ideas estaban fluyendo bien y los dedos respondían más o menos como quería.

Entonces decidí grabar este video con un poco de improvisación. Digo un poco porque improvisar, en todo el sentido de la palabra, es algo sumamente complejo. No tengo el nivel para lograr hacer una improvisación como tal, primero tengo que tómame un tiempo para pensar que frases y técnicas voy a utilizar y sobre que acordes hacerlo, algo así como crear primero un "boceto" en mi mente.

Today, Sunday, I got up and started to play the guitar a bit. After a while I noticed that the ideas were flowing well and the fingers responded more or less as I wanted.

So I decided to record this video with a bit of improvisation. I say a little because improvising, in every sense of the word, is something extremely complex. I don't have the level to be able to do an improvisation as such, first I have to take some time to think about what phrases and techniques I am going to use and on what chords to do it, something like first creating a "sketch" in my mind.

He visto lecciones de músicos de jazz que te muestran como improvisar en el momento, sobre el tema, y la verdad es increíble como estos tipos logran reproducir melodías fracciones de segundo después de haberlas escuchado en su mente; es impresionante.

Luego de grabar siempre queda la sensación de que se puede hacer mejor pero intentarlo muchas veces hace que la emoción se pierda un poco y ya no sería lo mismo, pues todo se va tornando muy mecánico, al menos, es lo que me sucede a mi, así que prefiero sacrificar algunas cosas y convivir con los errores, a fin de cuentas somos humanos.

I've seen lessons from jazz musicians that show you how to improvise on the spot, on the subject, and the truth is incredible how these guys manage to play melodies fractions of a second after hearing them in their mind; is awesome.

After recording there is always the feeling that it can be done better but trying it many times makes the emotion lose a little and it would not be the same anymore, because everything is becoming very mechanical, at least, that is what happens to me. , so I prefer to sacrifice some things and live with mistakes, after all we are human.
