How are we all doing?

I welcome us into another new week which is HIVE OPENMIC WEEK 152 and I remain you very own @tobbysax. This week's them is "traditional music" and I am very much delight to be a part of this week's activities.

It has indeed been quite a while and It would be "not so good" of me if I skip saying how much I've missed this community. I've missed the detail filled and challenging contents from my talented friends, the weekly theme and relatable renditions to them and most especially the corrections from my predecessor and very good friend musicandreview....I know it is to see me get better.

Recently, education has been demanding my attention and time which had be the reason for my unavailability these past few days but I eventually figured out a way to balance the equation (time)lol.

Today, I would be presenting a song of a Nigerian afropop artiste VICTONY FT TEMPO titled "SOWETO". Asides the unique wave and pace of its rhythm, it portrays a mixture of a cultural and modern musical concept which I find really creative. It was a combination of the African afromusic and a slight mix of the South african invented "AMAPIANO" music which projects the african culture in grand style lol.

I'lld be playing the saxophone and I hope you all enjoy this piece....and vibe to the gbedu (rhythm) lol.

Que tal gente linda??? ¿Cómo estamos todos? Les doy la bienvenida a otra nueva semana que es HIVE OPENMIC WEEK 152 y sigo siendo ustedes mismos @tobbysax. El tema de esta semana es "música tradicional" y estoy muy contento de ser parte de las actividades de esta semana.

De hecho, ha pasado bastante tiempo y sería "no tan bueno" de mi parte si me salteo decir cuánto he extrañado esta comunidad. Me he perdido los contenidos llenos de detalles y desafiantes de mis talentosos amigos, el tema semanal y las interpretaciones relacionadas con ellos y, sobre todo, las correcciones de mi predecesor y muy buen amigo musicandreview... Sé que es para verme mejorar.

Recientemente, la educación ha estado exigiendo mi atención y tiempo, lo que ha sido la razón de mi falta de disponibilidad en los últimos días, pero finalmente descubrí una manera de equilibrar la ecuación (tiempo) jajaja.

Hoy presentaría una canción de la artista afropop nigeriana VICTONY FT TEMPO titulada "SOWETO". Además de la onda única y el ritmo de su ritmo, retrata una mezcla de un concepto musical cultural y moderno que encuentro realmente creativo. Era una combinación de la afromúsica africana y una ligera mezcla de la música "AMAPIANO" inventada en Sudáfrica que proyecta la cultura africana con gran estilo jajaja. Estaré tocando el saxofón y espero que todos disfruten esta pieza....y vibrar con el gbedu (ritmo) jajaja.
