Hive Music Festival, Week 38, Round 2/"Ven Espiritu Santo" Barak/ (Esp/Eng)

Feliz martes amigos del festival musical de la colmena; un espacio para la paz y la union a través de la música; donde cada semana tenemos la oportunidad de compartir y disfrutar de grandes talentos, tanto en canto como en ejecución de instrumentos musicales, en distintas partes del mundo!

Esta semana he tenido la oportunidad de participar en una actividad de aniversario de una iglesia, donde asistí como músico invitado, lo cual fue para mi un gran honor, ademas de hacer lo que tanto me apasiona como es, hacer música; fue para mi un reto, porque no hubo ensayos previos, y, hubo que tocar para personas totalmente desconocidas, y, en algunos casos hasta canciones desconocidas; ya que, no es lo mismo tocar como estoy acostumbrado en mi iglesia, con personas conocidas y, generalmente ensayamos; pero, gracias a Dios todo salio bien!

Como les comente la semana anterior, para este ciclo, voy a estar compartiendo con ustedes, instrumentales del cantante cristiano Barak, uno de mis favoritos; realmente tiene temas hermosos tanto en la melodía como en la letra; para esta semana he traído el tema titulado: "Ven Espíritu Santo" , que pertenece al album "Lógica de otro mundo,", lanzado en el 2012!

En su letra el autor expresa, la necesidad que siente en su corazón de la presencia de Dios en su vida, y, los hechos maravillosos que ocurren cuando la Gloria de Dios desciende a un lugar; como el relato que aparece en la Biblia de aquel día de pentecostes, como dijo el salmista: "mi alma tiene sed de ti", al reconocer que no hay nada mas maravilloso que la presencia de Dios en nuestras vidas!

He preparado un instrumental; esperando que sea de su agrado!

Happy Tuesday friends of La Colmena Music Festival; a space for peace and union through music; where every week we have the opportunity to share and enjoy great talents, both in singing and playing musical instruments, in different parts of the world!

This week I had the opportunity to participate in an anniversary activity of a church, where I attended as a guest musician, which was for me a great honor, besides doing what I am so passionate about, making music; it was for me a challenge, because there were no previous rehearsals, and, we had to play for total strangers, and, in some cases even unknown songs; since, it is not the same to play as I am used to in my church, with known people and, we usually rehearse; but, thank God everything went well!

As I told you last week, for this cycle, I will be sharing with you, instrumentals of the Christian singer Barak, one of my favorites; he really has beautiful songs both in melody and lyrics; for this week I have brought the song entitled: "Come Holy Spirit", which belongs to the album "Logic of another world," released in 2012!

In his lyrics the author expresses, the need he feels in his heart for the presence of God in his life, and, the wonderful events that occur when the Glory of God descends to a place; as the story that appears in the Bible of that day of Pentecost, as the psalmist said: "my soul thirsts for you", recognizing that there is nothing more wonderful than the presence of God in our lives!

I have prepared an instrumental; hoping it will be to your liking!
