Melodic Dreams - A Chilled Guitar SOLO jam :) Happy Friday!

Welcome back! Happy Friday! This is a jam to help ease your mind, unwind, smile and enjoy!

Here we are with another improv jam! This time, I am toning down a little and trying to see what melodic lines come up whilst I'm playing. I add some captions as I go so you can all see what 'stages' I am working through - but most of all, it is just about having fun exploring! Staying calm, and just allowing yourself to play through a jam without stress or need to reach something (the stressful part comes in the practice sessions!) :)

This awesome backing track is from a YouTube channel called YTJamTracks. I use his channel quite often as he is very consistent with his uploads, and has great tracks! This is a great example of the quality of tracks! Guitarists, do you have a favourite or go to channel for jams? Let me know :)

This jam is in G minor. I have some commentary in the video to kind of run through my thoughts as I go. Well, actually, to collect my thoughts after I am playing - as I don't really think at all during a solo! I just go with it :) I think I would like to start writing solos rather than improv, just to see how they turn out. I just like turning on a track and letting my musical soul flow! :)

I have some more videos coming this weekend! Get ready for some blues jams and something different... a few lessons!:)

If you all like what's coming over the weekend, I will do more. I am thinking to change things up a bit with some lessons. Did you know that my job is a teacher hehe (Engineering Tutor) so I guess I should be able to teach guitar too :) I do have a dream, and I am chasing that dream! Everyone, do not give up - we are all going to be exactly where we want to be, and be together! It is a lonely process for me, but I will not give up, there is no plan B!:)
