Hello my friends turned musical family, greetings and blessings from here from me to you. This is Stefanovah and I'm here for week 196 of our wonderful Hive Open Mic... I hope my entry meets you all feeling good. This week I have been able to do the vocal recording for my forthcoming track and safely journeyed back to the city I was deployed for national service, what can I say except that God is good. With that let me dive right in to our theme for the week Your light on me, chosen by @isbelhiv02

For me I see jesus as light, I am a Christian and in the bible it clearly says Jesus is the Word of God, the same word with which the world was created in the beginning, when God said let there be light... There is a popular song in both English and Spanish, here I am to worship, which rightly calls Jesus the light of the world. I have not done a cover this song, but talked about the concept in this original piece I title Shine.

I had gotten just two lines of this song idea last Sunday but when I saw the theme for the week some days ago, I got inspired and ended up with what we have here. The song basically revolves around the bible scripture that says "Let your light shine before men that they may glorify your father in heaven"... The lines advising Don't smoke and don't drink are simply just lyrics based on my preference as a Christian please. I hope you all enjoy this song as I have and please I would love some feedback in the comment section so I can work on it more.

Hola mis amigos convertidos en familia musical, saludos y bendiciones desde aquí de mi parte para ustedes. Soy Stefanovah y estoy aquí para la semana 196 de nuestro maravilloso Hive Open Mic... Espero que mi entrada los encuentre a todos sintiéndose bien. Esta semana pude hacer la grabación vocal para mi próximo tema y viajé sano y salvo a la ciudad donde fui enviado para el servicio nacional, qué puedo decir excepto que Dios es bueno. Con eso, permítanme sumergirme directamente en nuestro tema de la semana Tus luces sobre mí, elegido por @isbelhiv02.

Para mí veo a jesús como luz, soy cristiano y en la biblia dice claramente Jesús es la Palabra de Dios, la misma palabra con la que fue creado el mundo en el principio, cuando Dios dijo que haya luz... Allí es una canción popular tanto en inglés como en español, aquí estoy para adorar, que con razón llama a Jesús la luz del mundo. No hice un cover de esta canción, pero hablé sobre el concepto en esta pieza original que titulé Shine.

El domingo pasado se me ocurrieron solo dos líneas de la idea de esta canción, pero cuando vi el tema de la semana hace unos días, me inspiré y terminé con lo que tenemos aquí. La canción básicamente gira en torno a la escritura bíblica que dice "Deja que tu luz brille delante de los hombres para que glorifiquen a tu padre en el cielo"... Las líneas que aconsejan No fumes ni bebas son simplemente letras basadas en mi preferencia como un cristiano por favor. Espero que todos disfruten esta canción como yo y, por favor, me encantaría recibir comentarios en la sección de comentarios para poder trabajar más en ella.
