FAST DESIGN 05 | THE EBONY MON4RCH [ESP-ENG]

En este post, presento mi FAST DESIGN número 5, en el cual me esfuerzo por destacar la elegancia y la moda en el diseño. Este concepto personal lo he ido desarrollando con un poco más de progreso en mi punto de vista, ya que tengo poco tiempo disponible. En este diseño, al jugar con tonalidades de grises, logré resaltar la figura sin interrumpirla con ningún texto.

In this post, I present my FAST DESIGN number 5, in which I aim to emphasize elegance and style in the design. This personal concept has been evolving with a bit more progress from my perspective, as I have limited time available. In this design, by playing with shades of gray, I managed to highlight the figure without interrupting it with any text.

CONCEPTO / CONCEPT
Les recuerdo que el concepto FAST DESIGN consiste en ponerme a prueba con una imagen generada y, a partir de eso, diseñar lo primero que se me ocurra en el menor tiempo posible, tratando de no superar los 30 o 40 minutos. Solo es un concepto, ya que por razones lógicas, el diseño de cualquier objeto o proyecto es fundamental completarlo con todos los materiales disponibles.

I'd like to remind you that the FAST DESIGN concept is about challenging myself with a generated image and then designing the first thing that comes to mind in the shortest time possible, aiming not to exceed 30 or 40 minutes. It's just a concept because, for logical reasons, the design of any object or project fundamentally requires using all available materials.

PROCESO / PROCESS
Tomé como referencia la película "Blancanieves y el Cazador", en la que la reina luce una armadura y vestidos negros que, en mi opinión, son magníficos. El vestuario indiscutiblemente refleja la elegancia y la frialdad que ella representa.

I took as a reference the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman," where the queen wears armor and black dresses that, in my opinion, are magnificent. The wardrobe undeniably reflects the elegance and coldness that she embodies.

Luego de generar la imagen, procedí a eliminar el fondo y le añadí un color sólido de fondo (#AEAEAF), ya que contrastaría perfectamente con el látex negro de la reina. Para el título, decidí jugar un poco con él para darle ese estilo elegante que se encuentra en las revistas o portadas de marcas reconocidas.

After generating the image, I proceeded to remove the background and applied a solid background color (#AEAEAF), as it would contrast perfectly with the black latex of the queen. For the title, I decided to play around with it to give it that elegant style reminiscent of magazines or covers of well-known brands.

Para la palabra "EBONY," apliqué un nuevo estilo en los títulos que nunca había utilizado antes, que consiste en jugar con las fuentes y borrar partes para lograr un efecto de que atraviesan las fuentes. Es recomendable emplear letras anchas para el título y letras en cursiva para los agregados, ya que su curvatura añade un mayor dinamismo.

For the word "EBONY," I applied a new style in the titles that I had never used before, involving playing with the fonts and erasing parts to create an effect as if they were piercing the fonts. It's advisable to use wide letters for the title and italicized letters for the additions, as their curvature adds more dynamism.

Me gusta la sección que viene a continuación debido a la posibilidad de jugar con la disposición de los textos. Agregué mi código de barras. Con la máscara de capa, podemos ver cómo queda también el título de arriba en el paso mencionado anteriormente.

I like the section that follows because it allows me to play with the arrangement of the text. I added my barcode. With the layer mask, we can also see how the title from the previous step mentioned above fits into the design.

Comencé a aplicar diseños con las barras de los colores principales, como un guiño que sugiere que puedes tomar los colores directamente del diseño con una herramienta de "toma de color". Luego, se me ocurrió la idea de no alargar el video copiando los textos, ya que podríamos haberlos reemplazado fácilmente por otros, pero eso habría perdido el sentido del concepto FAST DESIGN, que es crearlo en el momento y con lo primero que se nos ocurra.

I started applying designs with the bars of the main colors as a nod to the idea that you can pick the colors directly from the design using a "color picker" tool. Then, I came up with the idea of not extending the video by copying the texts, even though we could have easily replaced them with others. However, that would have missed the point of the FAST DESIGN concept, which is about creating it in the moment with the first ideas that come to mind.

Para finalizar, apliqué texturas con líneas para darle un estilo más estilizado y moderno, y encima del objeto añadí una capa de pintura blanca que cubre sus ojos.

To wrap it up, I applied textures with lines to give it a more stylish and modern look, and on top of the object, I added a layer of white paint that covers its eyes.
